Just that the cat birds sounded like wining kids hahah… birds nests are all over my garden, I am so happy not only for them, for me too. Thank you Linda, have a nice weekend💖🐻🐝🐸
Your garden truly is a paradise. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with all of us. I absolutely love all of the trees you have, the look is breathtaking. How did you plan the design of your garden?
All the trees are here long before me, I started to care for them since 2015, and add all softscape and hardscape around them. Most of times, I am amazed how nature performs beautifully, I take care of them, at the same time, they take care of me too. Thank you very much for the lovely comment, have a great day🐻🐝🐸
What a nice steady rain. So many blessings. Your blue hydrangeas are gorgeous up close. Do you treat the soil around them whit an acid fortifier? I’ve never had any success with mop-head hydrangeas, mostly because my area get too cold in the winter for them I think, that or I have them planted in too deep of a shade area, so now I’m going to give the panicle ones a try. Haven’t been down the walkway in the back of your house for a while. Every thing there look so peaceful. Smiled when I saw Nina 🙂 have a nice weekend. Don’t work too hard.
Good morning Mary! I don’t remember Connecticut was this hot and humid in early July 21 years ago when I moved here, not even in August back then, plus the bugs recent years, I can’t really do much during summer month, only here and there weeding and trimming. Spring and fall are my work intensive months. I only add a bid compose to my hydrangea and roses in the spring, nothing else. But I do have one trick, collect all my raw egg shells, let dry, put them in a plastic bag, step to crush it, then through them to the root area. I have heavy deer problem, they eat everything in all season, the only type of hydrangea they don’t eat is this French lace-cap, which you see them all over my garden, they thrive both in sun or shade, even deep shade, some of them in sunny areas is because trees got cut down, somehow they adjusted beautifully with really deep almost neon blue, I wish you are near by so I can give some to you. Everyone got them from me prefer the big round ball shape at first, but then they are all so happy, because this particular type is almost care free, huge size 4x6ft, and 100% guarantee blooming. As I told many other friends out there, I hardly use mulch, instead, the ground covers enrich the soil and make all shrubs healthier. Oh deer, they wiped out all my day lilies (over 20 of them) completely just over night, and some hosta too! You take care Mary, God bless🙏🐻🐝🐸
@@gardenofpraise567 I too do most of my garden tasks in spring and fall due to heat and insects, that was main reason to have my hip replaced at this time. Figured by the time I’m recuperated will be time to get going on main task in garden. I point at weeds and have family pull them up right now till I can get around without a cane 👩🦯😂 glad I got a lot done prior to. Went with husband to garden center and bought a lot of clearance plants/bushes to add more height in my beds to give it more form but have to wait to plant them due to the heat. I was motivated by your garden to do so as I feel mine are too one dimensional with exception of zebra grass in some areas. Off to get some more inspiration, checking out my gardening magazines. Till next time. 🌼🌷🌻
Hi Yunan, we love your garden & alway watch in every seasons. Could you be able to tell us the name of the tree. The tree trunk is orange. It shows on the Video at minute 21:13.
Thank you so much for being my garden friend over UA-cam, I am delighted reading your message! That is Scotch Pine, thank you for asking, so we can all be educated. See you around Nuan 🐻🐝🐸
Speaking of that, they already start eating my hosta and daylilies, I am lucky this year they let me see most my hosta leaves before their feast. We just have to give up many of our preference and choose others try to avoid them, even so, still very difficult, every year during the winter months, some of my rhododendron got wiped out completely… that’s why I like my bears. Thank you for stopping by, have a nice weekend! 💖🐻🐝🐸

So beautiful! How do you keep deer from eating everything? They destroy my garden

And, if you see any of my hydrangea has no flowers, that’s because the deer ate all the buds 😢
You can almost smell the rain.
Don’t we all just love that shower of blessing❤️
Lovely 😍 garden! amazing creation of God! actually God and Jesus created all john 1:1 Jesus is the verb !
Amen🙏
