You can use any quick drying medium you use with oils. Fast drying alkyd gel by Grumbaker or Gamblin are good. In fact I still feel that the turpentine works really well with oil pastels and even better than this resin gel which is very thick. I think a gel needs to be more fluid and it will help us to spread pastels better.

Interesting, but mostly annoying because the camera was only catching half the painting. needed to focus it to the left.
