Maybe you should consider putting all the children in public school with your mom being sick. One less thing you would have to worry about. Sophia would get speech and sulky would too. Ans it would be good socially for all of tge children

Watching this much later than the stream - it's34°F here and going down overnight! Winter isn't so bad though - a good excuse to make good meals that really stick to the ribs! (did a pasta dish with pumpkin, feta and garlic tonight! Deliciously simple!) Keeping you in our prayers, Tom. Just deal with today - tomorrow will deal with itself!

The kids seem so much older tonight. I think it’s because I have not seen shopping videos for a minute or so. They are all so adorable young men and girls. You seem so much better today.
As I was watching the video, I was sensing you were missing your wife. So nice you speak freely of her. Don't be too sad. I have 2 out of 4 of my children that refuse to see me anymore and I am not allowed to see my grands also. They all live in town so it is heartbreaking. There are those who share your grief. I am so sorry for what Kitty is going through. But let me give you a good testimony. The wife of the Pastor who married me and my husband had pancreatic cancer and they performed the whipple procedure on her and she has been cancer free for many years now. We will be praying for Kitty. ❤
I’ve been watching a lot of your old videos Tom, and I just can’t get over how special a lady Andrea was. I watch another channel “The Apples” and Jenny Apple had lung cancer and fought for 2 1/2 years . They are Christians also. Her husband is going through his grief journey and he has two little kiddos to take care of. She was such a great wife and mother also.
The kids are so well mannered .you must be so proud ! Teaching them right !

I’m very sorry to hear about Grandma Kitty. I had precancerous lesions on my pancreas, and had half of it removed 7 years ago. I will definitely be praying for her.

Wow groceries are very high there. Raspberries at 5.99 are 2.99 here in Iowa and Pringles are a dollar. You pay premium prices at your little local store. Menards is a favorite store. The yellow spot on watermemelon is supposed to mean it's sweeter.
Not really super high compared to where I live. Regular main stream grocery store raspberries are $4.79 and pringles are $2.40. I'd love pringles for $1, my kids love them lol

When you’re talking about the dental insurance and what your kid needs, I could really see it in your face. This is mentally affecting you because dentistry is so expensive right now. What I love about you is that months bloggers especially males quit their jobs because they failed that they’re making a ton of money on this channel, it’s sad because they’re older kids don’t have a sense of responsibility of being a young adult and they come back messed up because they weren’t taught necessary tools for them to be a functioning young adult and I can see that you’re different because you’re teaching your boys adulthood. I’m a single father of five. My kids have all been in college and I’m very proud of them because just like me I’m a retired psychologist. My son is a psychologist and a professor, my daughter is a an international law attorney, my other son just got his masters in marine biology and now is getting his PhD, and my son is studying Music and political science. My other daughter when she was alive started her first year and college, but unfortunately brain cancer took her away from me and it was probably the hardest thing that I had to go through. Being a single father was the best thing that could ever happen in my life and over the years. I probably had work with over 3000 kids and took him and raised, another 1520 kids before I was injured on the job. Great job dad and you’re a great example on how father’s should be and not relying on these Vlogs to help you raise your kids. You are doing it yourself.

We use fudge grahams from Keebler for s’mores
To save time while shopping with my three children, I would give them one item at a time for which to shop. That way they were not out of sight for very long. As soon as they returned to the cart, I would send them out again with another request. With 4 of us shopping, we got out of the store in record time.

Man groceries! Never thought of that, you're right. Clean the shed/garage, love those videos. In Ohio, if you get out and leave vehicle running, you can get a ticket. Not sure they really enforce unless there is an incident of some type.
Pre chop the watermelon up into containers and it will get eaten. When left whole no one can get to it. Alternatively can u buy a half?
it's more expensive in my experience to buy half a watermelon than it is to just get a whole one.
