So we built gigantic locomotives with 4 inch thick iron and a rail system to go Coast-to-Coast in basically an empty country, connected The Rail lines in Utah 30 years before we created personalized transportation to go to the store. If you look at San Francisco footage from 1906 there are several different makes models of cars all over the road years before Henry Ford created the assembly line.
Your logic is perfectly correct! Not many people bring up this point. How come you have iron tracks from one and to another and nobody is seeing a need for mechanized transportation other then rail? How can we justify the construction of major cities, absent a mechanized form of transport other than rail? Every major building in a city had its on rail system for supplying the construction site with materials or stuff was brought in by horse and buggy? This point here brings down the entire BS narrative and also contradicts itself by portraying us humans to be smart and efficient at the same time to stupid not to see the obvious.
I appreciate you Eric, thank you. And I’d put money on that if the “Titans of industry” drove these cars 100 years ago, it’s probably safe to say Jay Leno has one tucked away somewhere collecting dust. These really are neat vehicles, possibly a left over relic from another time. They seem to be much more fuel efficient than the later gas powered automobiles.
ua-cam.com/video/iiV4kwvqUlg/v-deo.html Here is a link to a video. Find out how deep Jay is in on this stuff, he's is at the end but , the video is great anyway. It's worth your time ...trust me.
They used to have a race called the "Duryea Hill Climb" in Reading, Pennsylvania. The challenge to this circuit was on the vehicle's torque to pull itself up steep angles and turns...as opposed to raw speed. It started on a street that starts as 13th Street but turns into "Clymer" Street. It would travel around 1 mile up to the top of the hill (small mountain hill) to Skyline Drive and then back down again. It was an annual feature in the small town up until the 90's...I think, when it was canceled. It has since returned, and the next race is on August 21-22, 2021.
Jarid, The Automotive Hall Of Fame is in Dearborn, Michigan. I believe there is a Duryea car in this museum, or across the street at The Henry Ford Museum.
spellings have duel meaning like, the difference between civil language and legalese. Don't try societies civil tongue in court, you'll leave in cuffs and loose any appeal you may have had. Because you don't speak their language and you will be judged a grotesque. They made the rules and didn't tell us what board we were playing on so, civilian's are destine to get hemmed up. All by design.
That’s why I presented this specific invention or advancement. I also had never heard of this vehicle before. I think it’s a key point that the “barons” of industry at the time drove these vehicles. Seems to point to a hush of secrecy about these first gas powered cars. Either that, or they really did manifest themselves into our timeline. I appreciate your comment James 🤙
Bring back the Duryea.I prefer 4 wheel though. Thanks for putting the Duryea Brothers back on the map, they deserve it. $680 back then.Im gonna guess the average hourly wage was ten cents.Well off entrepreneurs maybe a dollar putting them in better position to buy one.
Mr Jarid , Gasoline = When , How Who ??? Gasoline Engine W , H , W , - How do You power an Engine with Gasoline , When ther is no Gasolne ? () () () Not Gettin It ??? ----- Thanx Sir .

Trains were for delivering materials. People were fine with horses and wagons.
Cars weren’t invented, meaning no one thought of it yet.
I grew up in Springfield and had never heard of this. We did have the Indian motorcycle old plant still standing
I think Jay Lenno probably has one of those cars. Hey Jarid I had no idea about them either. Thanks for the history lesson today bud.

I know Jay Leno has a Stanley Steamer that has much higher speed.
$1600.00 in 1900 was around $51,000.00 today.
I couldn't have afforded one then either.
Dang it.
Lol always out of our grip.

Love the auto tech and I’m always learning. Thank you! For your time!
Never heard of them.Thanks
I think those "Gas" powered engines ran on some "gas", not "gasoline".
Today they're calling it blue gas, not gasoline. Good point.

What about the fuel ? Truck stops around ? And the oil change ?

You should talk along with your longer videos, like hearing information about every picture..Well you know what I mean.
afFORDable auto helped put them out of business, so typical. Thanks for your research!
I learned something new today! Thanks!
You learn something old everyday, it's just new to you.
That's how I see it.
Just a spin on the saying.
Love this, thanks.
Where has all this come from? I think reality is morphing into something new now. It is re-creating itself.
