Many of my kids ask, how they can get the puck up in the air when they do a slap shot. I always show the, the right technique but the puck stays on the ice. Any tips what I can tell them or special drill?
It would be great if you could demonstrate the backwards S stop, I am trying to work with the boys who are on defense where this is typical. I show them on the ice but having a Video would be awesome.
2:17 the stick doesnt generate power in the shot, it just stores energy and releases it (or a fraction of it) so if the shooting move doesnt generates power, then the stick material or build won't help much..
can you even lift your slap shot. if so you should make a video or add that to your next slap shot video cause i think alot of kids cant lift and want to learn how to. i can lift by the way

Can you show slapshot setup and execution while skating? Interested in the footwork since I don't see too many vids about it available on UA-cam...

My friend told me he broke his foot trying a slap shot.

I know, that is what I came to the video for. Anyone can slapshot it on the ice like he does, he looks like a noob not lifting it XD
+Michael Holding hahaha yea he is fucking bad add it :D haha
What the.I tried it and you have to hit the ice about an inch earlier
I think that stick had bit too much flex for you, stick to the 85
i have a 50 flex stick, probably too much flex for a slap shot..
That's a really bad shot.
cool
