The real question is if a slap shot in this way is that effective as opposed to ice hockey where you're dealing with a weighted puck and less resistance when your stick hits the ground and moves towards. I find your snap shot or a quick wrist shot more effective. Slap shots are easy to read, and take a bit more time to setup. Even in ice I rarely see slap shots that often.
I get that, but in ball hockey you can curve your slapshot too, which is obviously not possible in ice hockey, so slapshots can be much more difficult for goalies to read.
Would be really cool to see more tutorial. So far this one and the corner battle where quite helpful.
