First Frasier - Kelsey Grammer (also known as the Psychiatrist) Second Frasier - John Lithgow (introduced regeneration to the show) Third Frasier - Daniel Radcliffe (introduced Fraiser's nemesis, the Therapist) Fourth Frasier - Larry Bird (fan favorite) Fifth Frasier - Richard Dreyfuss (only had one season) Sixth Frasier - Alia Shawkat (first female Psychiatrist) Seventh Frasier - Johnny Galecki (first Psychiatrist of the revival)
Alia Shawkat as Frasier is such an amazingly bold yet choice casting that I cannot believe that Justin picked it on accident. I would pay money for it.
I've never seen a single episode of Frasier in my life, but when he asked the question Larry Bird was the first name that popped into my head for some reason and I got spooked when it came up for real
This bit is so damn good that I feel like they need to have a question each week where one brother takes his headphones off during the question and only comes back in after the other two have been talking for 30 seconds, and has to try to find their way back into the conversation.
They originally wanted John Lithgow to play Fraiser on Cheers, but when they went to his agents, the creators were told that Lithgow was not interested in doing television. So Travis and Griffin aren’t too far off!
My favorite actor replacements are the Fosters when they’re like “wow Jesus got taller” and on Last Man Standing when they’re like “oh Mandy looks different! Must be the hair”
I love this bit. “Don’t tell him the question. I want more answers to the question” is peak Griffin sibling energy.
Oddly, it's the one time Griffin isn't dogging on his brothers for their answers. Except for Richard Dreyfuss, he welcomes every suggestion.
When I first heard this episode I apparently zoned out at exactly the same time as Justin and it made the bit 1000x better.
Sir, a second chandelier has hit the Lithgow.

Dreyfus is like the 8th doc and gets a movie
@@brendanobrien8198 That was when they tried to make Frasier half human.
Frasier’s nemesis is Cam Winston
Ever since this episode I've realized that every time justin says "amazing" in that tone he has checked the fuck out and it happens.....a lot
John Lithgow is actually a very correct answer.
I really want Alia Shawkat too
It really is. I feel like John Lithgow is a little warmer.
Alia Shawkat as Frasier is such an amazingly bold yet choice casting that I cannot believe that Justin picked it on accident. I would pay money for it.
Justin not knowing what the fuck was going on was so funny
I love this bit so much for Justin's contributions after zoning out.
I wonder what Justin was doing or thinking about that was so much more interesting than his own podcast.
If it's like me...Absolutely nothing. It just happens
Why did this lead to Justin making a Frasier Big Bang Theory AU
the cadence with which Griffin says his lines at 1:38 is straight up a torturer talking
The way Griffin said John Lithgow lmao
this is one of my favourite bits in a while tbh
I literally have no clue who most these people they're talking about are because I have very poor actor name retention, but I'm laughing anyway
I've never seen a single episode of Frasier in my life, but when he asked the question Larry Bird was the first name that popped into my head for some reason and I got spooked when it came up for real
To be fair, I was thinking of Larry David, but until I googled it afterwords I had him and Larry Bird mixed up so it's still very weird
I would 100% watch Justin's Frasier Big Bang Theory AU
With the regeneration of Doctor Who.
This bit is so damn good that I feel like they need to have a question each week where one brother takes his headphones off during the question and only comes back in after the other two have been talking for 30 seconds, and has to try to find their way back into the conversation.
I love how they only talk about Fraiser because its 'not relevant so its funny' yet its on every morning in the UK for the last like 20 years at least
The producers of Cheers were also originally thinking John Lithgow!
They originally wanted John Lithgow to play Fraiser on Cheers, but when they went to his agents, the creators were told that Lithgow was not interested in doing television. So Travis and Griffin aren’t too far off!
And then Lithgow did Third Rock From the Sun
Paul F. Tompkins
honestly this is a god among bits
I want one episode to be made with the Big Bang Theory Frasier with swapping Crane Brothers. Just one episode, that's all I need.
Ironically John Lithgow was the first choice to play frasier in cheers
I wish Justin would have said Mae Whitman, so they could have responded "Her?"
The answer is always Tilda Swinton.
Every fucking time i watch this podcast, im reminded how horrible i am at actor names
I feel like I have a decent grasp of what Frasier is solely from the many, many references on this show.
David Hyde Pierce.
Imagine. Two of them.
EDIT: Definitely an episode where Daphne and New-Frasier accidentally bone because they got confused.
i second a second david hyde pierce
"Who frowned me this face?"
My favorite actor replacements are the Fosters when they’re like “wow Jesus got taller” and on Last Man Standing when they’re like “oh Mandy looks different! Must be the hair”
John C Reilly
More great cONTent
"oh no! Frassierre!"
these boys sure do know a lot of celebrities...
James Franco. Yes, it's more an arthouse than hothouse choice, but he can bring the energy and motivation the role requires.
they said frasier so many times at the beginning how tf did juice miss it
Jared Zeus
in light of the recent doctor who episodes, this 2:30 aged poorly
