Tosin Cole and Adelayo Adedayo discuss "Supacell." Created by Rapman, this six-part British sci-fi drama on Netflix follows five ordinary people from South London who suddenly develop superpowers. The only thing they have in common is that they are Black South Londoners.
Tosin Cole stars as Michael, a delivery driver whose life unravels when he time-travels to the future, discovering a terrible fate for his fiancée, Dionne, played by Adelayo Adedayo. The series also features Calvin Demba as super-speedy drug dealer Rodney, Nadine Mills as telekinetic nurse Sabrina, and Josh Tedeku as gang leader Tazer.

The show is amazing. I like the city street vibe, the music, the styling, the powers, and the stakes. Oh, and hmm... there was something unique about the actors. They all shared a certain characteristic... lemme see... oh, yeah their British accents. You rarely see that in superheroes.
Great, great show. Can't wait for season 2.

A "ranDu"m thawt 🤔... this show was f🔥re and it seemed it needed more that 6 episodes, but it was a gr8 cliffhanger to give ppl a taste of a possible season 2 or more 👍... this guy is like watching a young Idris, bcuz I wasn't hip to Idris till the This Christmas movie & watched wherever he did since, except for the TV series he did and I gotta check that out. This show had everything, except for say'n "Wakanda 4eva!" 😆
