I suddenly feel so old when I see this 😂 The LF ones were running everyday in London when I visited just 8 years ago. And when they were first introduced, I remember the earlier generation calling them plastic junk on forums, clearly upset and raging that the LF buses replaced what they called the L - Olympians, Metrobuses and Titans 😂
Sums up how I felt about the first generation of MMCs and StreetDecks replacing DB250s and B7TLs back in the mid-late 2010s. Now I’m ranting about the new electrics replacing them because of the horrible liveries they’ve got. They just can’t do right for doing wrong, can they?
9:27 Tower Transit! Doesn’t exist anymore in London, and that bus was new to First London who also sold their operations. 2:44 Also Dublin Bus from Ireland, interesting to see a city bus on Irish number plates in the UK.
I am just going by your video, but it does seem rattly, but the main issue I have is the buzzy ‘electricity noise’ internally and from your video it sounded very loud on the outside as well. The Wright electrics have a buzzy noise inside, but nowhere near this loud and they are not loud outside. I Iove the BYD’s with ADL bodywork. All you get is the tsss noise of the hand brake and then silence as it glides away. No noise and bodywork is great. The SL3 is my local route so I will be trying these out in due course, but by the look o& this video I am not now looking forward to it that much.
Nice to see perseve buses in good condition and still run even after years of svcs
@@resketless yes the buses are being very well looked after here!
4:25 love the acceleration from 9001 💨😮💨🔥🔥
And that Voith when it slows down in the distance 😀😀
@glitchFan2428 Oh yh, the breaks are out of this world 🙏🔥🔥

Wonder how long it'll be before we start seeing ADL E400MMCs and the like at an event like this, or perhaps even Volvo BZLs
Less than five years far as the enviro 400's go sadly.
