I loved your reviews of these perfumes! I’ve been collecting Profumum Romas for some time now and Confetto is also my favorite. Since they’re so strong, I usually buy the 18ml sizes, but I went for the 100ml bottle with Confetto. It’s so nostalgic and beautifully done. I recently added PR’s Neroli to my little collection and it’s one of the best orange blossom/neroli perfumes I’ve ever tried. (Love Violet Ida, too!)
Thanks for your comment! I’ll remember that if I get more samples.
Thanks for the review Henna. Next time, see if you can drop down to Rome. They have a very nice store there, I think it's their flagship. Plus, many niche stores in Europe carry Profumum Roma. Sorry that you couldn't find it. I have Fiori d'Ambra and it's a trippy dirty amber. Very vintage. I agree with others that Acqua Viva is a great summer fragrance with possibly the strongest lemons (lemon juice) smell that I've experienced. My daughter recently picked up the new Gioiosa and is happy with the quality/price. I think their prices have dramatically gone up in the past few years, as other brands have also. But yes, a little goes a long way. 😃
Thanks for your comment! I will look for those. It’s a great brand - impressive stuff.
Thank you for your thoughts on the brand! Profumum Roma sounds like they have something different to offer.
I was recently staying near a perfume store that carried the brand but, oddly (disappointingly) enough, I didn’t sample their line. In fact, the whole time I was travelling I never found myself quite in the mood to go searching or shopping for perfume. I think the air was already so filled with local jasmine blossoms, and every passerby was wearing their own fragrance, so I was never left wanting.✨
Ahh to visit Italy in the warm spring rather than when it’s still cool. Ah well.
That's really interesting that Aqua di Sale was recommended a lot. That was one from them that really didn't smell good on my skin. Aqua Viva was nice, it was a great lemon note.
My favourite that I have smelled of theirs is Thvndra.
I’ll have to look out for that one.
I enjoyed this house review Henna. I sampled Confetto a few years ago and liked it very much. I’m not a huge gourmand lover but I found it very wearable.
I’m not a huge gourmand fan either and it worked for me.
Great review! I’ve been wanting to try Profumum Roma for quite a while, and your descriptions of these sound very similar to another Italian line,Profumo Di Firenze. I got a sample of Buontalenti, and is nice for layering, because of its soft, smooth almost powdery gourmand trail, very much like an Italian dessert, sweet but no too sweet. I’ll have to get a sample of the Profumum Roma! ❤🇮🇹
Ooh and I’ve seen that brand. I’ll have to check them out too.
Thank you for this! I’ve never delved too far into their gourmand ones because they opened still quite sweet for me, but you inspired me to spritz on Dulcis Fundo today and indeed, the opening is very sweet, but it dries down to be almost a skin- lotion like creamy vanilla.
Oh that sounds good!
I really appreciate this walkthrough, since I've only tried two Profumum Roma scents!
Arso and?
@@CanadianBeautyBlog Acqua di Sale!
Your house review was so captivating! I’m really interested to try a few of these❤
I hope you get to!
I haven’t smelled Confetto but now I definitely want to! I have Arso but while I love the smell I’ve also concluded I don’t want to smell Ike it and it’s also very linear so I get a little bored. Ambra Aurea and Patchouli are also must tried from the brand.
Ahh another one for those too. I’ve put them on the to-try list.
I have also wanted to check out their scents. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on some of their perfumes 😊
I hope you do!
My favorites are Patchouly, Ambra Aurea, and Olibanum. I go back and forth with Thundra. I'm testing out their citrus perfumes and Acqua di Sale for summer.
My only issue with the brand is the price lol. Great quality but so expensive!
Expensive and hard to find irl for me!
I bought an 18 ml of Dolci Pensieri & Sabbia Bianca. I loved Confetto too & wish I had gotten that too.
It’s still around and there’s still time 😊
I always enjoy the house sample videos, great chat. I almost bought Viva as its a great kong lasting lemon, but rebought my chanel blanche as it has more depth and nostalgia plus way cheaper.
Dulcis Fundo was a community darling for some reviewers but it was way too much for me.
I was just looking this one up. Too much in what way?
@@CanadianBeautyBlog it's too sweet for me. If memory serves me it was like a thick sweet orange. Loads of people compared it to an orange creamsicle I believe.
I own 3: Ambre Aurea, Dulcis in Fundo and Arso. Love this house, want to try more. Thanks for the review
I love how many people are rooting for this house. What a hidden gem! I was just looking up Dulcis in Fundo and Ambra Aurea. On my sample list.
@@CanadianBeautyBlog FYI Fragrancebuy has Confetto in stock (LTD Edition bottle) Not cheap at $329 but it's hard to find in Canada
@mikev880 I know, I’m waiting to restock the normal bottles. They have them on their eBay but they’re not putting them on their site for some reason. They must have their eBay stock separated from their website stock.
I really like Alba. I just can't justify the price in my mind for some reason.
Maybe because it’s a gourmand and gourmands never get taken seriously for some reason.
@@CanadianBeautyBlog interesting 🤔 I more viewed it more of like a white musk type fragrance than a gourmand. Still want to try it again.
