    If this is how you do it for your restaurant, THANK YOU FOR SHARING!! My mom watches your channel and told me about the spot in Rancho Cucamonga. My lady and I went there a couple weekends ago and your partner was actually there. I told him like I'm telling you now, we came from San Bernardino and would go all the way to L.A. for bbq..THAT STOPS NOW! LOL I wasn't expecting the turkey or brisket to be cuttable with a fork! Damn bro! I just might use this recipe for Thanksgiving since I was told there's a turkey shortage and you guys may not be taking orders. I know this was a long post but I'm so glad moms told me about ya'll .. We've been back a second time already! ANYONE IN THE I.E. READING THIS, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO ELMER AND JASPERS IN THE HAVEN CITY MARKET! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

    Last year for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I put turkey breasts in my 8 quart Ninja Foodi pressure cooker.. I pressure cooked it for an hour and then air fried it in the same Ninja for about 10 minutes to crisp up the skin. My husband said it was the best and most tender turkey he’d ever had. Both methods work. Merry Christmas AB ! Thanks for ALL you do !

    I used this recipe this Thanksgiving. Even though it’s all white meat, which is usually dry, it was very moist, very tender, very flavorful. The only change I made…I didn’t have rosemary, so I used thyme. My husband is STILL raving about it. It is now a permanent recipe in my file.

      Thanks for the suggestion of the swerve brown sugar Josh. I'm keto also and today while at the grocery store I couldn't find any deli slices of turkey that didn't have added carbs (and also loaded with preservatives) so I ended up buying a frozen turkey so I could make some up for this weeks salads. I was just going to skip the brown sugar. But.. sounds like some swerve brown could be a winner.

    I'm newer to cooking and when I've seen other channels with this small amount of seasonings, the comment sections are ruthless saying it's not seasoned well enough. I really don't want to under or over do it. I'm just needed some guidance and insight on this. Your food looks great, just contradicts what I constantly see on comment section in general on other videos with similar amounts of seasoning on meats.

    • @SmokinandGrillinwithAB
      @SmokinandGrillinwithAB  2 роки тому +1

      The seasoning amount is up to you the individual. This turkey was made for sandwiches. Also to show other options for cooking. Honestly you can season underneath the skin and let it marinate for a couple of hours and if you like you can brown your turkey prior to putting it in the Crockpot.

    • @jerri2005
      @jerri2005 2 роки тому

      Thanks so much! I'm always afraid to under-season that I often feel like I overdo it because I want it to "look" seasoned. I want to taste the flavor of the dish and enhance it with seasonings not overpower it. I'm still learning, but I made your Creamy Cajun Chicken the other day and right when I started, someone was like, "that chicken don't look seasoned" but once it was all done, it tasted great. I paired it with rice. And the sauce it really what brought it together. I love your channel and I appreciate what you are doing and bringing a new mindset to cooking.

    Nice Fam… honestly it’s a nice option for a Thanksgiving turkey as we only do the breast because we aren’t huge fans of turkey. I would just brown the skin in the over or grill.. It is also healthy. Thanks AB. My doc said I need to get my cholesterol down so I need to start eating more leaner meats and this is something I will definitely consider.
