I used to have an ss50 back in the early 80s, my first road bike and i can still remember the reg plate number, it was on an N in really good condition, i swapped it for a Suzuki X7 250 and when i saw it again about six years later it had been used in the fields and was a hell of a state, broke my heart to see it like that

I think that the front wheels and shockstruts from a Yamaha FS1 used to fit on a SS.
