Steph, I highly recommend buying a new perfume now and wearing it everyday you are in England until you leave, that way in the future when you spray it you will feel nostalgic of these times. Seriously perfume nostalgia is a real thing, scent helps us connect to our memories.

Brighton is my hometown! Six, Lost in the Lanes and Trading Post Coffee Roasters are my favourite places for coffee/brunch and there are so many good independent restaurants - especially on Preston Street. Redroaster is also a really great (and aesthetically pleasing) place for brunch/lunch . Brighton is one of the best places to be in the sun but I'd stay away from the seafront in the wind, it gets quite intense. I hope you have an incredible time here 🥰

I just got back from studying abroad in Italy. You’ll get used to everything (it isn’t embarrassing to ask bc how else are you supposed to learn). Also, you’ll be surprised by how many friends you make. I went there knowing no one and left with like 20 new friends (as an introvert that never speaks to people, that is beyond shocking lol). I hope you enjoy your time in England and good luck on your studies. 🧚🏾♀️🦋🌸
I'm going abroad next fall semester and am so afraid of not making any friends. I'm kinda shy with new people but then super outgoing if I know you. I'm just afraid that everyone will have established friend groups and I'll just be there alone.

Aww this is making me so nostalgic! Studying abroad in England was the best time of my life and the girls I went with are literally my best friends and are even going to be in my wedding when I get married next year! Have so much fun and explore as much as you can this is such an incredible time and I know you're gonna make the most amazing memories!

Okay this video highkey got me all misty eyed and nostalgic about when I studied abroad for a semester in Australia! I swear I'll never forget that feeling of getting on a plane alone to go across the world knowing I wouldn't be home for 6-8 months. Such a wild but incredible growing experience. You'll make the best memories! Also I swear my international dorm was literally identical to yours lol. Cherish your time there! Best of luck

as someone who has lived in brighton all my life, this is so exciting for me to see someone from another country see how cool it is! i feel like most people visiting/moving from other countries only focus on london, but brighton is such a weird and unique place and should be appreciated more!
