I lost my parents in a tragic accident. No more than 8 months later I lost my wife to surgery complications. I was left with a 6 yr old daughter. I heard this in the shower as youtube continued songs. I broke down and cried like i had never known. This is now mine and my daughters song. God Bless you all.

I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where UA-cam started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life...

i was broken hurt and bruised. a boy with a broken identity, who believed he was born homosexual. the deeper the lust and the sexual encounters, the emptier i felt. Emptier and emptier. i had no joy nor peace in my life, i had a distorted view of what love is, and yet it did not satisfy me, deep down i knew that my lifestyle was wrong, but i was bound by chains and fetters, i started drinking, i started cutting myself to feel. my sexual encounters became more and more sick, and one evening, when i went with someone i never met and never knew, i hit rock bottom, i was so broken, i was so overwhelmed by the weight of my sinful life. i was sinking deep in sin, i was far from the Peaceful shore, but the Master of the Sea came and lifted me out of the pit of destruction. Jesus Christ was with me when i did the filthiest things, He was calling me back to Father everyday. One evening, the weight of my sin was so strong and weighed me down like a 1000 tons of cement, the Holy Spirit convicted me of the life i was living, homosexuality, alcoholism, lust, self-mutilation, self-centeredness, pride, lying... as I was feeling all of this, the Father manifested His LOVE, GRACE & MERCY to me through Jesus Christ. I never felt such love - He moved with such authority yet with such LOVE and COMPASSION. I knew that there is a GOD. Now saved am i, cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ, i am dead to my sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. Now my life is a declaration to the Messiah, HE is The Way, The Truth & The Life. I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good! Washed and cleansed by the precious Blood of my Jesus Christ! HALLELUJAH!!!!!

In my opinion, she sounds like a combination of Taya Smith and Brooke Fraiser. I am going to sing this song on Sunday :) Pray for me to be anointed by God! I felt God's spirit the first time I listened to this song. May the congregation that I will be leading to worship feel God as they sing along to this wonderful song! To God be the glory!
I don't know if you'll get this reply ,but it is so awesome to speak or sing in front of a church... I have experienced similar things... Cherish them for it is a honored position
I did not pay attention to worship songs when I was in the middle school. Worst case scenario is that I even knock my classmates, leave the classroom, and ignore my friends who are listening to such just to show my hate, or I should say sheer disgust to them whenever they're playing that.
Back then, I had been involved to sins galore some of which are hurting my classmates without any valid reasons, cutting classes and going home late midnight, stealing a lot of money in our school canteen and so on.
However, the aforementioned sins I've committed in the past we're the ways why I encounter God. I am very thankful because despite of my past, my friends still love me, making me realize that God use them for me to change. I am absolutely glad for me to have them since even though their my friends, they're not my partner in sins instead they always told me that I should be a better man through devotions and applying it in spite of the vexation of other people.
I know you're confused why I only tell that my friends are the only one who change me....
Yes, you're right! I have a problem with my family. Our relationship, as time goes by, became very weak especially to my father. We're existing in one place but I feel that we're not living; we're closed to each other physically but emotionally apart.
Maybe because of the trauma that my father brought to me when he beat my mother because of "absurd speculations" with regards to affair which he only heard to gossipmongers.
2 years later, the trauma is still in here and continuously growing. I cannot talk nor look at my father in a second because all of the bad happenings will sink in my mind again and again.
I hate this feeling... But I know, that God will change our status the way how He change me when I was in middle school and high school.

I was asked to listen to this by a family member who helped me in my Christian walk 2 years ago. I was too busy way back then that I didn’t bother. Today, it’s my first time listening to this as I read back how he encourage me to the Lord. He told me this song and encouraged me to listen to this. It hurts me a lot more that the closest person who helped me with my walk, doesn’t believe anymore. I want him to love Jesus again and again.

Her name is Aryel Murphy, she used to lead worship at Hillsongs Los Angeles in USA but she relocated to Australia and got married this year to Daniel Mathew who is one of the team members which was sent to plant the Hillsongs LA. Their wedding on 8th Feb was very lovely @ Allsaints Anglican church, Woollara. Her wedding was posted live on her facebook account, she is currently using the name Aryel Mathew. Indescribable, immeasurable, unattainable, unconditional love. Scientists, Theologians, Atheists, Religions have tried to prove or debunk for thousands of years. The foundation that Jesus left is pretty straightforward but complex. The mysteries of God revealed to those that love him. It is for the moment and for the individual.
I am going through a trying time. Its great to remember that god loves us so much. He showed it by Jesus dying on the cross. For all who are going through trying times, i truly pray that God grace will overwhelm you today through his son Jesus Christ and you will find peace like no one else can give except the Lord Jesus Christ

Ive been through so much abuse, abandonment, harassment, and pain; but i can tell you this : throughout all of that my God has been there to love me, heal me, and help me back up even when i caused it on myself. He delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears. He welcomed me back home into His arms and love when i did not deserve it i praise him for all He's done for me.
