I was depressed way back 2016-2017 and I remember walking at night listening to this song and "As it is in Heaven". I would sit in an isolated area at night, under the stars, listening to these songs, just me crying my heart out to God asking him to remove this sadness off me.
I thank God for healing my broken heart ❤️

Back in November 2019, (this is a 100% true story!) the day before thanksgiving. My family and I were on vacation on a cruise, We were arriving to St Lucia. Suddenly during breakfast time, without any warning, my dad had a sudden seizure! Everyone was panicking and I was crying so hard! Everyone else in my family stood back far away from him. But my mom, my sister and I cried out to Jesus and we kept screaming out loud “in the Name Of Jesus!” My mom held his chest, My sister was hugging his foot and I was lifting my arms up! He went to the St Lucia hospital, but they didn’t do any good at all!
Literally later that afternoon my dad was perfectly fine! but he was very tired ! The next day was Thanksgiving and it was probably the best thanksgiving of my life! We went to Antigua, I got to swim with stingrays, my dad went for a swim, and the family had dinner together! It was like it never happend!
It turns out he got the seizure from his pain medicine that causes seizures! Now he’s off the medicine after a medical detox! This showed me that god really does love and care about us! HE SAVED MY FATHER’S LIFE!

forreal. Amazing song, it's so beautiful. Weird, it feels like the album didn't include a lot of the parts where they actually SAID stuff during the songs. Did you notice that?
They edit some stuff out (like the talking) and add some vocals at times as well usually after recording to make it sound better. Kind of like why the "What a Beautiful Name" audio has full vocals while the filmed one has the breaks when Brooke lets the audience sing. Usually they only add the talking when it's before or after the song (or the occasional "come on" or "sing it with me" or "let's sing it" lol).

I love how every person there represents a city, a town, a neighborhood, and they all come together to be fueled up in Jesus. They then leave back to their towns and cities to shine their light there. And in the big picture, everyone is a part of something bigger than themselves- the kingdom of God on earth.
And it's not about the people on stage. Unlike secular music, everyone is included in this story. It's everyone coming together under the name of Jesus to declare the truth over their lives regardless of the season. Everyone is apart of the kingdom of god, and they're all equally loved by god. Isn't that beautiful?

3 years ago , I suffered from depression and self harm. I was sinning everyday without caring. But then , God came to me. It was hard...the transition between the ancient me and the new me was difficult. But eventually I made it. I’m still struggling in some areas but I rely on God 100%. I love Him so so much. He saved me , he healed me. He is my best friend.

It brings me into His presence, I can't stop listening and singing. You Hillsong Worship and United members truly worship God more than you perform. It is evident in every song, every time. Also, seeing the people worshiping God in these videos is both beautiful and inspiring. I have truly been brought closer to God listening to your music and watching your videos the last few months. Jesus is calling me close and I am so thankful. You have been a big part of my journey. Joel you are a truly gifted singer, writer, and leader - please keep singing.
