I hope people know MJ was 35 y/o during the last dance. Played all 82 regular season games and still dominated without load managing. No judgements on anyone else, just acknowledging greatness!
Just the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen on hardwood. Michael Jordan was graceful on the court as a ballerina in dance with his athleticism, competitiveness and perfection in fundamentals made him the greatest.
By that second championship run he was just playing on an entirely higher level than the rest of the league. It's like watching a supreme artist at home in his craft. It almost looks too easy although we know he worked his tail off to get to and maintain that level. He always just seems a step, a move, a play ahead of the rest of the court. It's sort of odd watching it all play out -- like he had an instruction book that others just didn't have. I guess that's the essence of the point people make when they say that MJ's "basketball IQ" was just off the charts by the second 3peat run. It's beautiful to watch now, in retrospect and it was beautiful to watch then as a witness to that greatness. Long live the king.

I'm very lucky to have watched MJ and the Bulls play LIVE TWICE back in the 90s when they came to Vancouver, BC Canada up against the Grizzles. First time I was thirty rows up lower section which cost me $90 at that time. Second time it was a dream come true. My high school coach had season tickets for NBA & NHL. He place his season tag over my head and around my neck and said, "I can watch any game but for you this is once in a lifetime." I was almost in tears. My coach ended up sitting in my seat in the nose bleed section all the way up while i sat about SIX ROWS behind the hoop. As I was in awe watching MJ doing his warm up his foul shots, lay ups and fade away. That moment for me nothing existed. It was just me and MJ. My eyes glued to him. Player from the Grizzles trash talked to MJ and MJ scored 19 points in the last 6 minutes to win the game. Ended up with 29. That was 1995-1996 regular season game I will never forget in my life November 30, 1995 Vancouver Grizzles vs Chicago Bulls. THANK YOU COACH!

MJ is the greatest basketball player of all times ! There will never be another Michael Jordan and he is not comparable to anyone playing in the NBA thus far.
I remember watching these games. It was magical. I was in my early teenage years, waking up in 2/3/4 am in mid 90's to watch them since I'm living in Europe. Every game MJ played felt like a movie. When MJ retired I completely stopped watching basketball. He made basketball look like an art form. Basketball halls were always full. Everyone wanted to see him play. I don't care who you compare him to, but you'll never find a better and more complete player and athlete. It's not only about his skills, but also mentality and motivation and how he pushed the whole team to be on his level. He's The Supreme Master. I'm thrilled that I was able to witness those events by myself. Thank you MJ. Love you forever.
Fun facts “ so When their was a rumor that he was making his first come back I bought my tickets 3 months in advance Vs Celtics and I believe it was the second game anyhow I about a pair so my older brother asked me “hey can i join with you I said kindly NO bc he never believe in me that mj was making a come back .. so instead I took my younger brother .. so the experience was unreal really; just amazing . It was the year I moved from Minnesota to Boston . I witness a legend in person it was priceless . Oh yeah he also scored 35pts .
This is the NBA I grew up with. Not the bunch of superfluous-overhyped-me-first sissies we have on court now. An elbow from the mailman would knock off the heads of KD, Harden (Artest's elbow was just a pat), etc. NBA on NBC was a treat for the family and for my buddies at the Sports Bar. When the comish David Stern decided to go Global so as to get more audience to buy NBA stuff, the quality we always were used to went south. So far, Mr Adam Silver hasn't done anything in his power to rectify this tremendous faux pas. I miss the real NBA ... RIP.
Agreed!!! I’m 41 now and this era is what I grewup watching. Hard to compare anything to this era of basketball. Not even close. Just the way players carried themselves. Classy and professional. No showboating. No attention addicts. Just business and play and all the fame and fortune came with it. Things change I understand that. For it to change to what we have now is a dam travesty. 🤦🏽♂️😔
I am and I'm not even a Bulls nor I never rooted for MJ but no one can't deny he was a legend and those Bulls teams were like a rock and roll band. Even females who didn't like basketball knew about Michael Jordan and that was insane to me and my friends
I think nothing does MJ justice like the return in the nba. I am optimus prime and I am here to win 3 more rings. and the dude fucking did it. I lived in that era. I remember the rockets fans. the knicks fans. the pacers fans. optimus prime won.
@gerizzyYMcrew Wrong. Maybe for the first third or so of the season while Pippen was out, but Chicago wouldn't have won without all of the pieces they had in place. MJ is by far the GOAT in my eyes, but to suggest that his team around him had little to do with their dominance is absurd. Jordan was 35 years old. He without a doubt lost a part of his game under the rim. That's not to say that he lost it entirely, but if you go look at the years after his baseball hiatus, you'll clearly see that he began to favor his signature midrange fadeaway over his under-rim acrobatics. The year prior to Pippen's injury, he led the team in both steals and assists if i'm not mistaken, and was second in scoring. Had he gotten traded away like he wanted, they without a doubt lost in the finals to Utah. Everyone who goes on saying that Michael was the team wasn't paying attention to Pippen. Unfortunately he will forever be in MJ's shadow undoubtedly due to MJ's personality and drive, but Pippen was the second best player in the league at the time in my opinion. His defense was unbreakable, and his ability to score opened Jordan's game up even more. Same with Kerr and Kukoc. Both great shooters that made it harder for defenses to cover everyone. Rodman was one of the most ferocious rebounders in the history of the NBA. You take away either Pippen or two of the three others, and the entire season could have turned out differently. Jerry Kraus was a rat of a man, but god damn did he know how to assemble a team.
Growing up in Chicago those were the great old days. Everyone made plans in June to get together and watch and party and celebrate. Thank you Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls for many many great memories.
Wish they had hd footage of his early years. I’m convinced that the grainy low quality video of his 80’s years is the reason kids doubt his GOATNESS. He was by far and away the best ever- in ANY sport.
Did you watch them live?? I think if you lived in Chicago during the Jordan era, you are one of the luckiest people on earth. I can't begin to imagine how it must've felt.
It was so amazing that I was 15 and watching game 6 while taking a math exam in Taiwan. Though watching it during an exam was definitely NOT allowed, my math teacher even came to watch the game with me. I guess that was how charming the whole NBA and Michael Jordan were to people in that era.
Grew up watching him even from the nose bleed section, just being there with my family in the old united center and new was more than amazing experience for me. The love i had for the nba isnt the same as 2k era. Miss the old days..
"The Bulls win 88-83." That's how difficult it was to score back in the day. When you have the GOAT on one team and the original Splash Father on the other, and the score is just in the 80-point mark, you know they went to war.
@@tszkinleung5310 exactly. How many screens did MJ have to fight off chasing Reggie? And switches wasnt a thing back then. Dudes fought off screen while their arms were getting pulled. Slight ass bumps were not called, and let's not talk about the Indy's Davis Boys and Smits, and NY's Mason, Oakley and Ewing all waiting to smack you in the paint. We havent even touched elite perimeter hand checkers like Derek Harper, Payton and Dumars. Or elite shot blockers like Mutombo, Mourning and Admiral. The defense back then was just suffocating on any part of the floor.
@@MrSkeleton131 @Warden Freeman perhaps. But you kinda need to put it into context. The handcheck rule gave offensive players more freedom to move around the court which resulted to more uncontested 3s and drives. This gave players like Curry and Harden more freedom to dance around in iso and do their thing. The 80s and 90s were a totally different jungle, the reason why the pace looked slower. Offensive players had to rely on actual fundamentals and strength to be able to put up a shot. Halfcourt sets were a necessity and you didnt usually see transition plays unless it came from a turnover. Players like Mike, Bird, McHale and Barkley among others really needed to work hard for their shots.

It was basically discussed in "The Last Dance". It wasn't a push off. To paraphrase Bob Costas, it was like ushering a customer to sit on a chair. Russell was already moving when MJ stopped on a dime in that step back.

That's right the GOAT is LONZO BALL
I was so happy at age 43 now coz i ever see how great this player, see him through live tv,i feel like have a hero through him, man he is black but no one dare to mock or taunt him,he was truly idol of my entire life,we can see a great person and great athlete in him
The 90’s in 4K is crazyy
If you have a 4k tv, put this on full screen, beautiful! Props to whoever made this video.
I can even find any words to describe his greatness. He is the G.O.A.T. period.
perfect height, body, sexy moves, sexy dribbles, beautiful fadeaway shot. Goat
90s is the last era of great footwork... Lost art nowadays.
Nowadays they all 3 point superstars lol🤣
Great footwork is an art
Greatest video i ever seen. the quality and camera angles are second to none. wow
A tear just came out of my eye.😥
The grace the tenacity the competitiveness and the will to win.
There is only one JORDAN. And that is Michael Jordan.
MJ in every way, I just don’t fade-away 🥇
this mans footwork was phenomenal- and kobe stole it all... a smart man.
RIP.
same i miss the oldschool NBA
Dennis Rodman probably would get ejected 1 min into the game with today's standard.... miss the old school NBA.
The league is better than it's ever been but they do call too many sissy fouls, an they should bring back hand checking to a certain extent
R.i.p.
Who is watching this after the trailer for new espn series next year?
Mark Appiah I AM CANT WAIT
I am and I'm not even a Bulls nor I never rooted for MJ but no one can't deny he was a legend and those Bulls teams were like a rock and roll band. Even females who didn't like basketball knew about Michael Jordan and that was insane to me and my friends
Mark Appiah Can't wait for the documentary in June
That looks so awesome... brings me back to my childhood... MJ is the greatest ever, that bulls team is the greatest ever..
They went to Jordan and said we would like to do a 30 for 30 and Jordan said no, 10..... 10 30 for 30’s
So it begs the question will Kobe go for 11?
I think nothing does MJ justice like the return in the nba.
I am optimus prime and I am here to win 3 more rings. and the dude fucking did it.
I lived in that era. I remember the rockets fans. the knicks fans. the pacers fans. optimus prime won.
MJ was gifted with a thousand post moves matching with high basketball IQ and a killer fade away shot. GOAT. Jordan brand speaks it loudly...
Them beatin Utah in ‘98 really broke my heart bcuz I thought Utah had the best team in the nba. The Bulls had Jordan and that was the difference.
Year 96,97,98 Bulls is Unstopable
Pippen, Rodman, Harper, Kukoc, Kerr, etc...
Don't forget about The Worm. Rodman threw a monkey wrench in a lot of the other team's plays.
@@craxypackets totally agree
*MJ = PURE ARTISTRY*
The GOAT 👑👑👑👑
I wish I could have seen one game live while MJ was playing. Everyone in the crowd lucky be you.
It was great! Got to watch him come into the league and watched his rise.
Growing up in Chicago those were the great old days. Everyone made plans in June to get together and watch and party and celebrate. Thank you Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls for many many great memories.
Soo nobody’s gonna acknowledge the fact that the music behind the video is amazing?
Music? Please
Yeah it's kind of a heroic theme. The name is final striker
what's the music name?
actualy its not the original music of that vid. he edit3d it to make this hims
That crossover move on Russell for the game winner has been played millions of times around the world.
You're the only goat in the history of the NBA Michael Jordan. only you! Salute!
Damn thosw fade aways are gorgeous
Always will be the greatest! Thanks Mike ♥️
I don't think there will ever be a player greater than MJ.
Michael Jordan.....the best basketbal player of the world....I'm see this
No Kareem or lebron
Wish they had hd footage of his early years. I’m convinced that the grainy low quality video of his 80’s years is the reason kids doubt his GOATNESS. He was by far and away the best ever- in ANY sport.
Once upon a time when the NBA was Great!
I love watching this everyday
I was lucky enough to had witnessed the Bulls dynasty
Did you watch them live??
I think if you lived in Chicago during the Jordan era, you are one of the luckiest people on earth. I can't begin to imagine how it must've felt.
Same!
@@difidon I wish I did but I was 13. I watched all his games! Gosh I miss those days.
tafnam same
It was so amazing that I was 15 and watching game 6 while taking a math exam in Taiwan.
The world will never see again an athlete like him..... Goat
This video deserves more views...
MJ the Real GOAT😎😎😎😎💪💪💪💪💪💪💪from🇵🇭👊👊👊
pasing untay You know basketball for sure😊
@@andytan911 yup that's my fav sports,but im not a prof.player 😸😸😸😸😸😸
LBJ is the GOAT Going On Another Team(Lakers) searching for a ring😆😄😁🤣😅🤪😃😊😛😙😇
"The Bulls win 88-83."
That's how difficult it was to score back in the day. When you have the GOAT on one team and the original Splash Father on the other, and the score is just in the 80-point mark, you know they went to war.
Jerald Vincent Zumel The D back in the days was some real D
To be fair the pace was a lot slower back then
@@MrSkeleton131 @Warden Freeman perhaps.
TRUE
now?just soft,softest
I respectfully disagree with what Michael said at the end. There will never be another player greater than Michael Jordan. EVER!
Dude Michael Jordan is the only person ever that can be Michael Jordan......he is the Goat of Basketball period
I played high school ball and he is the reason!! He was magical
the greatest of all the time
*AIR JORDAN 💯💞
PERIOD
I truly look up to this man, he made mistakes but he is a hero to me. Long live the legend, the greatest to every play the game Michael Jordan. This man literally inspired me to go after my dreams. Saw him play one game on tv, changed my life idk what game it was but to see him play to see how he would move.... just woww. The opening to space jam says it all. A dreamer got to dream
Thanks for being you Michael, I may never meet you but you helped
Michael looks amazing so suit fit. Unbelievable
That was the best angle that CLEARLY shows no push off. Please end this debate now.
It was basically discussed in "The Last Dance". It wasn't a push off. To paraphrase Bob Costas, it was like ushering a customer to sit on a chair. Russell was already moving when MJ stopped on a dime in that step back.
this is the old version of MJ, imagine how great he was when he was still young....
@MOXXZ1990s Bird "swept" as part of a legendary team filled with future HoFers. Jordan was playing with a bunch of bush league scrubs and he had just entered the league. Get your facts right.
This is perhaps one of the best videos I've seen in my life
