The podcast is hosted by comedian and writer, Shehzad Ghias Shaikh. Shehzad is a Fulbright scholar with a Masters in Theatre from Brooklyn College. He is also one of the foremost Stand-up comedians in Pakistan and frequently writes for numerous publications.

I had often thought that this sort of narrative existed only in my time as a student at NCA Lahore during the '70's. So hopeful that there are young people like you who are striving to bring in some sanity in this insane environment.

It's the first time, I've seen six sane Pakistanis together. The nation needs to move beyond, swords, slaves, and salvation, and adopt a secular scientific outlook like the 60 other countries that already have. We should invent our own modernity like the Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese, according to our own tastes, and get rid of fanatical religious extremism.

The overwhelming majority of people's political outlook is not actually left anymore, not just the case in India but also worldwide. So this tag is used by undemocratic forces against those with whom they don't agree. This happens often in authoritarian states now it is also happening in India..

Also, people like Rosy Pirani are the ones who have given unnecessary Islamic touch to the ongoing conflict.

Mariyam is an interesting personality! Muzammil is one of my favorite from Pakistan........ of course, I do follow Shehzad. the only thing I don't like about podcast videos is its too long at time boring....... it's nice to see your minority (all you guys) is doing a better job. I follow black hole, The Critical Patriot..... at times if I want to laugh then Qamar Cheema, Arzo kazmi or Fakhar Yusufjai.... they are good laughing stocks! (In Mariam's words they are a bunch of Chutiyas)

My opinion about Pakistan in a nutshell
1. The 2nation theory was fake to achieve political goals
2. Mullah and the Army captured the power and kept that fake alive to have control over it. Pakistan is ruined by these two.

Unlearning is very difficult.
I was brought up in the time of terrorism in West Punjab and learned hate towards Pakistanis n Muslims.
Now most of my friends are Pakistanis but that hate keeps coming back after few drinks.
I learned speaking bit Chinese but unable to unlearn.
Shehzad and all the guests, liked this impromptu tete-a-tete though a shade realistically pessimistic with the state of affairs in Pakistan. Is it really all that hopelessly decadent society?
All of you seem like a good bunch of siblings with Adeel being the quiet eldest Brother then the eldest sister Mariam and she is only in the group because we never have a choice to choose our siblings and she is that. then comes the middle child shahzad whose biggest talent is to start a discussion (Teeli master) and lastly the two youngest twins Muzammil and Tamkenat vastly different talents but loved by all
