I’m not sure….rubbing alcohol - or an alcohol “wipe” is ok to dab on the outside of the flute such as the embouchure plate - where you place your lips when you play. That’s OK. But you never wet the pads or the rods or springs with anything. It can damage the mechanism. “Sani-spray (sp?) is a blue or green tinted disinfectant to clean wind instrument mouthpieces sold in music stores. That said, instruments shouldn’t be casually shared. Also never use a silver polishing cloth or silver foam or silver foam at all on your flute because 1. it can mess up the mechanism and 2. it will rub off the silver plating.
@@jennaishere1 Oh that‘a wonderful. It’s really fun - I started in grade school. My parents signed me up for lessons. I followed what the teacher said and I got better. What I like most is playing flute with friends. Good luck!

beautiful! It's like playing with a drone ❤
The whole reason I took up woodwinds was because I wanted to compete with my noisy children. :)
Your doggie is singing along, too!❤
LOL My St. Bernard's used to do this when I played. Now, my cats just run away.
Ahahah m'y dog does the same thing when I play piccolo, above all the high notes 😂
Hahaha! Yep, improvising with a really low B-ish construction pitch as it drones on….! 🎉🎉
You're pretty🎉
LOL of course, turning your piccolo to the machine in your foyer! 🎉
😁😁😁
@@TheFlutePractice And of course, spell correct changing “tuning” to “turning” which I only just now saw. LOL!
