DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Odunze with a solid TE in Kmet with Swift and Herbert as RB1 and RB2. That team is absolutely loaded and ready for someone to come in there and excel. Caleb Williams is set up for success. If he fails it will truly be all on him.
You know Cole Kmet gets sold short that dude is easily a top 10 tight end in the NFL back to back years of over 700 yards and plenty of touchdowns to boot
Pair that with the Bears defense clamping down for the back half of last season and reaching Top 10 defense numbers and I am fully ready to be hurt again by this team as I huff deep breaths of hopium.
@@EJofKCthe top 10 stats are in like one category for a two game stretch. That defense was bad all year long in almost every single category
@@SmedleyButlerIIthat “one category” is interceptions, in which they were the best itl, + with Sweat for a full season the sack numbers will be much better and all around a very solid defense
@@EJofKCand the new kicker pinning fools back back back as far as possible
We drafted Tory Taylor for his play on the field not how much we have to pay him.
Yeah I was confused by that too. Like does he not know how bad Gill was last year?
Who’s we, you got a mouse in your pocket? lol
@@masonboard In the US, it's common to refer to our teams as being part of them. In Europe, everyone refers to their teams as, "them" and "they" won/lost etc.
@@hockeyfan1799 bro, I live in Wisconsin lmao
@@masonboard why are you giving me shit then
Keenan Allen's primary production is from the slot. Rome will play the X when they go to 3 wide sets.
Never count your eggs before they hatch...
I for one welcome our new Bear overlords
K. Allen received most of his snaps last season in the slot. However, depends on the match up - you can see any lined up anywhere. This roster really comes down coaching.

Apparently you haven't seen the punter that was in Chicago previously one of the worst in the league while I do agree in the 4th round is a bit of a reach it was very much a position that needed to be addressed.
He was projected to go in the 4 th. We had a 4th. Rather spend the 4 th that try to be cute , trade down and be in punter tryouts this preseason . Nah nah poles handles it right .
The optics of the bears later picks look better if it went…
Pick 75: Austin Booker (Proj. 75)
Pick 122: Kiran Amegadjie (Proj. 82)
Pick 144: Tory Taylor (Proj. 151)
When we picked a punter I was thinking it was a good move because it seemed smart to have a good strong leg punter in Chicago for the next few years where there will be windy and cold games, we are not in a dome yet, and if this guy could consistently give the opponent bad field position then I do consider that fairly valuable, but your point does make sense that you could just pay for the top punters in the league who are already proven and you would only be paying 2 mil more, not exactly worth a 4th round selection, when we could have gone with another depth piece for the offensive line or maybe a interior defensive lineman
Just so everyone knows the Bears ranked fourth and Pass block win rate second and run block win rate and fourth overall in total block win rate we also led the league in time until pass which is why our sack and pressure numbers look so bad Justin wasn’t always just being immediately pressured. He just held the ball until he was pressured.
So what I hear you saying is , with Caleb’s Aaron rogers like ability to surf in the pocket while looking for targets and his lightening fast release that the sacks will be cut by 75% because our line is actually good ?
@@VictoriaColmenares-rv5dq I mean that might be an exaggeration but our oline was substantially better according to advanced analytics
I agree drafting a P is lighting a pick on fire and I am a bears fan who is a big fan of Poles, but as much as I don't want to say that it's true
Any analyst would say taking a punter in the 4th is too high, but you have to look at the context. We had maybe the worst punter in football last year, and Taylor is perhaps the best punter prospect ever. It was our last pick at the time so it made sense, given the situation. The worst Net Yards per Punt at 38 when the best was 45.3. That's more than a 7 yard difference in average. I know the punter isn't the only factor for that, but that's where it begins.
They willing win 8-10 game's which would be a improvement
Talk to any HC in the NFL about an elite punter’s “value”.
Next year we will draft at least 3 offensive linemen in the first 4 picks
Bears can thank
ATL's Penix pick for Odunze
As a Bears fan offense is looking good, obviously all depends on Caleb. I love the focus on offense. Our defense is overrated though in my opinion, strength of schedule in the 2nd half of the year was very weak. I definitely have some concerns regarding the pass rush and even the secondary.
so uh...who they picking at Qb in 3 years?? also who will the new gm be?
I'm looking forward to going up against them
I can't wait for the nfl season to start 😩
Our offensive line will be a disaster
If everyone performs then nobody will complain.
You've been pronouncing Rome's name wrong just so you know!
Hate to says it like it actually physically hurts to say this'll but the bears might be good
Caleb Williams will bust
Based on what?
@@rc5564 my eyes
Nope not even close Z it’s practically inpossible . He’s need to fall from a 4 story building in his right arm for that to happen
