1998 3.8l V6 Camaro to LS1 / T56 swap - Part 11 - Pilot bearing and Rear Main Seal

Replacing the pilot bearing and rear main seal on the LS1 as preventative maintenance while its out in the open. Put in a SacCity oil barbell while we're in there.
I am in the process of swapping the L36 V6 and automatic transmission out of my 1998 Camaro for an LS1 / T56 out of a 1999 donor.

Met an old guy at ACE who told me filling the cavity with grease and tapping the bearing w a socket will cause the bearing to be pushed back out. Haven’t tried it yet
