❤️ skunks. The spotted remind me of the ocelot. Those tails are amazing.

Those spotted skunks seem to be the most agile. Almost weasel like. Well, I guess they are truly in the weasel family!!!

I did not know there were so many kinds. I’m in OR and I’ve only seen striped. Very cool.

I had a semi-feral cat who had a nasty run-in with a skunk. Even his best friend, a German Shepard, wouldn't let his stinky buddy near for a few days. Managed to bathe the fighting tiger a couple of times, enough for the smell (and my headache) to dissipate after several days.

Seems pretty hard to differentiate the hooded with black back versus striped?
    Like at 2:35?

    Excellent work, Mr. Jason Miller.
It is very well put together and an educational video for me. As an Arizona resident myself, I only see skunks on the road dead.
I did not know there are many types.
Thank you again! For educating us and your hard work.
    Good day

They are all amazing. Especially in the Hog-nosed you can see the resemblance to their cousins the badger and wolverine. Thank you for putting this together. It's really great to be able to easily compare them like this.

We have 4 different kinds of skunks, but the hooded come in different phases.

As a species they certainly have some of the most perfect fur (plumage) of any mammal--almost like felines that keep every inch of their coats immaculate. With skunks, they all do, no matter what subspecieses.

Yes, I've felt skunk fur, and it is definitely one of the softest.
