Awesome video! We have been looking to purchase this model and your opinions on it are very useful. I can't wait to see a video overview of you digging with this model machine and how you like it. Thanks again!
Really like this machine. Been watching this model for months. Purchased a 1 ton recently. But this is the next buy. Would love the swing boom as well as everything else you covered. Its definitely a solid platform without question. Jealous my guy 👌💪
Hoping to see a future video of you using this machine and testing it's capabilities. Keep us posted on any places to find parts or filter cross references please. I'm heavily considering getting this machine
Looking to source addition attachments for this machine (wide trenching bucket, auger etc). Had no luck with the Chicago warehouse. Any help would be appreciated!
I have had no luck either. The best advice would be to measure the pin size and spacing and build your own adapter that can be welder onto the desired attachment.
I have one I bought in Arizona. I have almost 33 hours on it, really great machine. I'm having trouble sourcing oil and air filters. Have any ideas? Thanks
@user-dy3rv7lq6b need to see about cross reference filters. Donldson,Baldwin, start here. Napa is another. Have you ask the company What are the filter nunbers
Have your upper thumb mount cut off and welded 2.5" higher. It will allow the thumb to sit basically flush to the boom while still allowing it to fully open. I just did mine and it worked great. Also, if you need buckets the cat 302.7 buckets work, you just need to weld a couple shims (fat washers) inside the ears to reduce the width a bit.
This is very similar to the SANY. I have the SY35U it's similar but just different enough. I have 170hrs on my machine and it's been flawless. I have no doubt this will be a good machine for your needs.
A friend of mine bought one and is looking for information on maintenance schedules. Is there a place you know that I can find a service manual for this machine?
None exist, pretty much. The few I have encountered are in Chinese, and are basically just for the motor. Best information I can find are videos here on the tube.
Hey man I bought that same excavator and have been struggling to get buckets/ attachment for it by any chance do you know where to get them or what other machine is comparable to it
Does anyone know what hydraulic oil the machines are shipped with? My manual shows you can use either VG46 or VG68. I want to make sure I add what’s already in there. Thanks
@@TheOutFitPropertyMaint. This size zero turn platform typically does not have room for an engine driven AC pump or a place for the condenser where it can take advantage of the engine fan for heat exchange. Go with a larger zero swing or a conventional tail swing in this size if you need AC or go aftermarket AC kit. Aftermarket is elec powered and will put a hurt on your charging system and isn't nearly as good as factory AC.
Does anyone know how to do the maintenance reset on these. I know all 8’s will unlock the screen but the passcode after that is different and have not been able to figure it out. Thanks if anyone can help
If you purchased this for business use it would be a bad business decision. We run our machines daily and depend on reliability. Japan built excavators are very reliable and resale in amazing.
The only one I have available is the ku45, it's the next size up from this one and comes with air conditioning. It weights about 7000lb so it's a bit more capable
This is my issue with the design, I would either want to pull a pin and strap the thumb out the way when doing a lot of digging or see I could get another mount point welded on to the thumb so it can tuck away better.
I bought one last year and I have 70 hours on it. I love it so far, it’s been great for trenching and small enough to leave on residential jobs
This exact model? Have you had any problems with it in the first 70 hours?

Thanks, I will try to get a video out doing some digging

Thanks they are well built. obviously only time will tell if they last like a comparable model but first impressions are great
Any vids on it working?

Will do!
Is this compatible with any attachments like an auger or rock breaker?
How much did you pay for the excavator and how long did you wait for delivery? The hydraulics work exactly the same as in yanmar/kubota etc.?

Have you taken the filter to a parts store to see if they can cross reference them. That would be my best guess to start
Try truck pro. Or a big company that sells for tractor and trailers. One that sales for all brands
I'm almost at 50 hours so I'll be working on figuring this out very soon. Probably take the old ones out and take around to cross reference.

What's the inside spacing on the ears of the Cat 302.7 buckets?
How many hours do you have on yours? Has it held up okay?
Looks like a re-branded Sany. What's the overall height? I'm very interested in one of these but not sure if it would fit through an 8' garage door.

Try googling around for a Yanmar ViO-25 Operation and Maintenance Manual. Not the same machine but same class and same engine.

Does this machine have upgraded hydraulic pump and motors? Piston pump or geared?
Thanks for the video, great info!

I just bought mine and I can’t find where the pattern control is, any idea?
I believe there is not a switch, you have to re plumb the hoses to the controls
What did you pay for machine?
I swapped some hoses around to make it work for me. No digital stuff to swap around.
Helpful video, thank you. What about air, oil, and fuel filters? Readily available in the Chicago hub?
Where do I buy one
Every larger Ritchie bros auction usually has a few
Clever to use the uhaul. Did it handle the weight ok?
Are parts easy to get? How about attachments ? Thank you for the video
Can we see this machine working?
is that direct drive from travel motors or does it have final drive.
What was the price of machine? From auction?
The retail price of this excavator in China is 130,000 yuan, 26 models, 2.7 tons of weight
About 18,000 US dollars
Seems like a really nice excavator. I could not live with that low hanging thumb you'll find when digging trenches it may get in the way. 😊
Will this excavator fit on a 6x10 dump trailer?
I thought this unit came with AC! I was about to order one. I live in Louisiana and AC is a must
Enclosed cab, but no A/C ?

What was the name of the actual manufacture that you said?
Shantui se27sr
Anyone know where I can find a oil filter for mine? Just hit 50 hours. How much oil does it take?

it's got a yanmar diesel engine, awesome! mid 20k's nice....
Some of the machines coming out of china are very solid
Ja osobiście celował bym w firmową maszynę. Bobcat lub kubota 😊😊😊
Get to the point that everybody wants to know what do you pay for it? Where did you get it? Thank you.
How much

I like it I want one. I'm a licensed plumber in Oregon. I can put it to work.
The only one I have available is the ku45, it's the next size up from this one and comes with air conditioning. It weights about 7000lb so it's a bit more capable
You have vents on it as if They offer AC
They do offer them with heat and a/c
looks very similar to the sany excavators, tons of the same components
Yes similar, I'm not sure how many components they share
Nice Unit! I wish I can get some bigger machine
keep an eye on those auctions, sometimes there are not that many bidders and you can get one at a reasonable price
Who would buy machine with computer? The point of buying these Chinese is that u can fix them yourselves. Fail.
I would not buy with a computer at all. Just getting parts is bad enough.
Ella Ville

Timmothy Mall
Carmella Shoals

not liking that thumb very much at all

The Thumb is way too low.
I’m thinking about buying one of these and have questions can I contact you by email
