Is THIS The New Mario Game for 2023?

Nintendo love to release Mario games on the Switch. There are currently 15 of them, but right now there isn't a single Mario game set to release in 2023, and in the Nintendo Direct in February, there wasn’t any information at all, about an upcoming Mario game, but I think I know what the next 2 Mario games will be and so in this video I will be talking about what those games are.

I'm crossing my fingers that Nintendo will have a standard direct this summer despite not attending E3 this year. Hoping that the only new Mario game we do get this year is an actual adventure rather it be 3D or 2D, especially with the Mario movie coming out this year would make sense to put out an adventure game instead of another spin-off. So here's hoping for some surprising 1st party announcements 2023 summer from Nintendo.

Honestly, I want a mainline Mario game based off the movie that is a mix of 3D and 2D. For example, maybe levels for exploration will be 3D, while levels with a direct goal could be 2D. I would also really like to see Mario kart in the mix, for the rainbow road scene. I think 2d levels should be the training course, Mario and donkey kong running through the mushroom kingdom, and some others. It could also be cool if Donkey Kong was a playable character, and even if no one is using him to play, he will still be in the level somehow. I also think peach should be playable, alongside toad and perhaps cranky kong. Luigi should be playable at the end of the game, during the final fight against bowser.

I love Mario baseball I will definitely get it if it's on the switch that's what I want is a Mario baseball game I am so good at Mario baseball I hope it releases in June 4th that's when my birthday is that will be a good birthday present.

I'm really hoping for a new _Paper Mario_ game this year, if not 2024. _The Origami King_ was such a disappointment, and was well below the standards set by the first two games, and even Super _Paper Mario._ It's also worth noting that next year is the 20th anniversary of _Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door,_ so by then we will have been waiting 20 years for a proper sequel to one of the greatest Mario games of all time.

A new Paper Mario game would be incredible. I actually enjoyed TOK but I can see why people didn't, I'm hoping for a port of TTYD as well
