- In this pole dance performance I summoned the courage to show my struggle through grief of my fathers death. Acceptance for me was to reconcile that his addiction was stronger than love. And that it wasn’t my fault. Acceptance for me wasn’t a relief, it was clarity.

It was amazing. Touched my heart so much. My father was abusive and he couldn’t heal and ended up dying a miserable death. Such complicated feelings. Sometimes dance is wonderful for saying the things we can’t say with words.
