@@HollysHollandsRabbitry well her first litter she had 6 but only two survived because it was her first litter this time they all survived but i believe she is not a true dwarf Holland so that could maybe be it? Maybe she can hold more because she is bigger.

She does not need bigger cages. They all get out of their cages every day and the bedding she uses is fine. Holly takes very good care of her rabbits and she knows what she is doing.

The way these rabbits are kept is disgraceful. Nowhere near enough room, wire floor hurts their feet, no enrichment. How would you like to be kept locked up in cramped conditions? Not very much I think. Rabbits love to run, hop, jump, play and socialise. Keeping them like this is cruel

    • @sheenasargent4566

It is not cruel. The rabbits get out of their cages every day and wire floor is fine for rabbits and she has even said they prefer the wire floor. She has tried putting things for them to stand on and they would rather stand on the wire floor. Holly takes very good care of her rabbits, she knows what she is doing.

@@sheenasargent4566 With no disrespect, I believe Veterinary professionals, the RWAF and the RSPCA have more authority on the matter. Also, common sense does too. Wired floors lead to sore hocks - tiny cages damages their spine and emotional health too. Quite frankly, anyone who has looked after a rabbit properly will know that providing them with suitable living arrangements brings out a whole new character and happiness in them

@@bobbygleeson8001 Holly's rabbits are happy and are very well looked after. She has been doing this for years. She knows how to keep these rabbits happy and safe. Like I said before they get out of their cages every day and so are not cooped up in the cages all the time. Just because she does not do things exactly how you would does not mean she is doing things wrong.

@@sheenasargent4566 "Remember our rabbits live in their toilets" - I think that's part of the problem........ Just realised this is based in America, but this would never be deemed acceptable in the United Kingdom

@@bobbygleeson8001 and not all Veterinarians are against wire cages. I know a few that are for them as long as the cages are kept clean and they have a choice of getting off the wire floor (or have been given the option in the passed). Like I said before Holly has given her rabbits the choice about getting off the wire floor and they usually chose not to use it and prefer the wire floor.
