I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well.
I can relate. My prayers go out to your mother and family. John 4:24 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

I wrote something some years ago about my Mom and Dad and their wonderful relationship.
Sure, they had some hard times....but they had each other.
My Dad told me, "Your Mother was the ONLY woman for me!!"
When she was put in the Nursing Home and then passed away there 9 years later, my Dad was there every single day to visit.
To hold her hand and sing to her, to play the guitar for her, to spend time with her.
He was never the same after she passed.
The poem was called, "Together Again".
This is part of it:
"Memories flood my mind,
And tears flood my eyes,
I remember the day I married you,
You were such a beautiful bride.
When we brought 3 little children,
Into our loving home,
I never thought that years later,
I would be without you and alone.
I felt so lost and so very sad,
All the memories of you were all I had.
All around this home I see your touch,
Oh how I miss you so very much.
Looking at your pictures,
And wishing you were here,
I know your time on earth was done,
Sometimes I feel you here.
My time on earth is drawing near,
There is no more pain,
I will be with you soon my dear,
And we'll be Together Again.
I love you, Mom and Dad.

I love this. At age 6 I was an immigrant from The Netherlands to the US. This music represents America's wide open spaces, and welcoming in that era - 1964. There is also the melancholy thread of always being homesick and yearning for the people left behind.

I was born in the UK in 1944 and ever since getting my very first "Buffalo Bill Wild West Annual" a few years later, I grew up a-dreaming of being a Cowboy!
I realise there are some CGI graphics in this screening but they make it even better for me. After all, I used my own imagination all those years ago and now, someone has taken the great effort to make my old dreams come true.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! From the bottom of an old man's heart whose lifelong dream of being a Cowboy came closest when I ended up working amongst many US expats in the North Sea many years ago (1970s/80s/90s) These were all "Men Of The West" from many Western oil states and your perfect video reminds me of so many of those guys.

In any one of those pictures I can imagine my son and I sitting around a campfire having a cup of coffee watching the sun rise or watching the cattle come home. And basking in the all the glory God has given us
I spent only 3 years in an environment similar to this. 50 years later I still miss it more than any place and any one.

@@Flawgore: I did go back to take a look. I remember my dad did go back, but it didn't work out well at all for him. I learned my lesson from that I suppose. But I do seek out similar environments to be a part of where I am. It helps.

After I retired My wife and I spent three years up and down both sides of the Rockies. It's a journey that will stay with us forever. If you can, when you retire, pay yourself back for all the years of anxiety, worry and everything else that goes with it and Go to the mountains and follow your heart. pbh

This country was paid for with blood and honor and dignity which doesn't come cheap !! The soles of millions of men and women their blood ran deep !! It was spilled on all the battlefields a honorable sacrifice not done in Vain !!! Freedom !! Freedom !! Freedom !!

I had the same closeness with all these western backgrounds working sales, visiting business owners in just about everyone of these pictures. Driving and visiting ranchers in Salida, Durango or Steamboat Springs, CO.
Driving out on the eastern Range seeing antelope hoards of 30 or Rocky Mountain Sheep and Elk in the Mountains. Only ever saw two bears in Colorado in 17 years, and my friend in Bailey's Crossroads saw four on his back deck once all about 100 lbs.

A great way of life. Simple but hard. Man & nature. Great music to go along with it. Couldn't ask for anything more.
I have worked from the hill country of Texas to the Montana oxbow and there is a lot more to this way of life than most realize. We have to be wildlife experts, vets with a strong animal science background, expert riders, able to drag calves to the fire. Maybe a 100 years ago it was simple but now one cowboy has to do the work 20 men used to.
With all the chaos in the world today, It's nice to just exhale, lean back, and enjoy these lovely notes. Thank you for this. 🐎

@@Mavenger1845 well, probably country music it's a mix of a lot of cultures, Spain imported the guitar to southern america when it was still part of the kingdom of Spain. But although Country shares some chords and Armony with Spanish or Mexican music, probably it's more inspired in Irish and gospel music, not British.
But I'm talking about stereotypical western music, not country music. Which have a lot of resemblance with Spanish music, because on early far west times southern america was part of Spain and then part of Mexico.
It's a Great idea, to have such great relaxing time and music, also farm land and cattles and beautiful land scape.
