Yes! I love how it bounces from theoretical to ridiculous to sincere and inspiring in any given moment. Love how this shows not only how amazing H. Mack is, but how incredibly human he is. I can relate to him on a whole new level. And now I'm also a fan of Rick!!!!

This episode has transcended podcasting into something that I can't even describe. The editing, music, philosophical discussions, math in music, logic behind freestyle and comedy/anti-comedy mixed into it all - I was constantly smiling and amazed at the same time. This was incredible, Rick.

This has to be one of the greatest podcast episodes in the history of podcasts. Joyful, genuine, spontaneous, detailed, hilarious. Just two men - a master and acolyte - worshipping at the alter of the art of freestyle.
I've only watched the first 5 minutes. I was loving the convo and I had never heard of Harry Mack so I went and looked him up on UA-cam. I love the juxtaposition of caring too much and not caring enough about what people think. Pretty interesting to see two people with opposing mind-sets have a conversation like this. And they’ve both been able to be successful. Kinda makes you realize there’s no wrong way to do it.
I feel like these two dudes are geniuses and they recognize each others minds. They are just Vibin at a high level.
Rick is up there as one of the top interviewers ever. He refuses anything but total clarity from his guests (and from himself), has a beautiful sense of timing and pacing, the editing and his vocal cues have me *rolling*, brings a high level of comfort to his guests which translates into topics, tidbits, and stories we’ve never heard in dozens of other interviews with the same person: truly top-notch. One of the few people with a podcast that SHOULD BE podcasting.

He basically sets the bar for what a podcast should be. I never knew I was watching mid till I started watching this podcast.
I feel like it's hard to challenge Harry these days, but Rick had some creative ideas to make Harry flex his skill in different ways. Damn the rhymes are contagious
I came into this podcast as a Harry fan, and never having seen any Rick content/standup before....and I am enthralled by this dude's ability to articulate his questions and harmonize his wavelength with Harry's. Amazing conversation. Definitely gonna be checking out more TYSO!

It's crazy when you think a genre of something has peaked and can't get any better.... then you stumble across something that raises the bar soo high! What an episode! I’ve seen Harry on a few podcasts and I’m a HUGE Mack fan, but have never seen or heard ANYONE dive as deep and ask the kind of questions you did Rick! And on top of that, have fun with him and freestyle back and forth?! Amazing pod! Loved it.
Looked like Harry was having a blast when Rick would challenge him to answer his questions in a freestyle, and he killed it every time. Great episode.

This was so much fun. Rick queuing the songs for the freestyle responses was one of the best things I've ever seen. Honestly in awe of the creativity, execution, and just straight up silliness but also very honest and informative. Even if you don't particularly like Rick's style, it's undeniable the quality of podcast he makes.
As a hip-hop head and a guy that used to try and freestyle with friends pretty regularly the ins and outs of what he’s doing in his head during his freestyles was amazing. I’ve never heard anyone actually break it down this detailed. The back and forth freestyle with Rick was fire!
This is amazing, funny, philosophical, psychological, technical. One of the Best 'interviews' I've ever seen with Harry. That last freestyle was amazing and you can tell the way Ricky was asking questions and digging deep that helped Harry go deep with the rap. And you can tell Harry really enjoyed it and wanted it to continue, like a therapy session or something lol
It's so great to see Harry and Rick really connecting with... finish each other's sentences.

I was listening to it last night making dinner and went from having my mind blown, to laughing uncontrollably, to pondering how much of what I do is serving my ego, vs. serving others. I came on behalf of the Mack Mafia, but wow… This was an incredibly enjoyable watch! LOVED the discussion and the freestyles. And Rick, first time watching you, and man, you were a great host. You were accommodating, investigative and even stayed objective & pointed to truly get the answers you were seeking from Mack. Instead of offering layups, you were like the “Good Cop” Vietcong jabbing HMack’s gentle POW torso with the splintered wooden spear, instead of the good ‘ole machete through the neck (quick, but relatively painless), to extract the position of the secret hideout to HMack’s brilliant mind. Playfully brutal, but incredibly entertaining to watch your amazing personality & humor tear back Harry’s layers to his onion to reveal his core. I had several belly laughs watching this that truly displaced my innards. Thank you for that!

Hi Rick, I hadn’t heard of you until about a month ago when the Burr episode dropped. Now I’ve watched nearly 150 episodes in that amount of time as I recovered from a back injury. My favorite part about this podcast is every time rick's about to play a beat for him, Harry impulsively starts rapping to the AD before the video.

Hearing Harry Mack talk about when he stumbles in a rap it makes him up his game then to actually witness it in the rap at 1:54 when he miss times the beat then goes on to absolutely kill it was a joy to watch.
