I lived in Victorville in the mid 90s. It's wild to see how much it has grown. When I look at Google maps, I can see things I remember and completely new regions and neighborhoods that were empty desert fields when I was a kid.
My husband and I moved to Apple Valley a year and a half ago. He’s been looking for a job for over 9 months and can’t seem to find a job. Any suggestions?
@@LIVINGINSOUTHCALIFORNIA I've been in LA for over 15 years. Spent 3 in Victorville living with another relative. In those 3 years, our house was broken into twice. My car was broken into three times. You'd never expect that cuz the neighborhood I lived in with my cousin looks pretty decent to good. That's partly why I left. 5 years later, my cousin moved to Inland Empire becuase his house was broken into a 3rd time and whoever it was somehow stole his safe which had his late wife's jewelery, birth certificate, and sentimental things that couldn't be replaced while he was away for the weekend in Vegas. It sucks. I live by Compton now and it's way safer than there. Haven't been broken into once either in my home or my car. I get you're defending the city where you live but be real. Victorville is overrated and a cesspool for crime more than a place like Compton where it's basically known for it!

Hello, I’ve watched a few videos about living in Victorville, and there’s a lot of bad comments, stating too much crime and ghetto, is this true? I would assume that in some areas of course?
@@fierroantonio7 I moved up here 2 yrs ago and for me it is like any other city. Some bad and good areas. I have not had any issues and love it here plus the county is investing and a bunch of retail stores that were not here 2 yrs ago are popping up. You make it what you want. If you look for trouble, you will find it... just like any other city. I moved from Long Beach and it is so much better here.
This place has nothing to do and the crime is crazy if you go on victor valley news something happens everyday. And don’t go to the mall that thing always either has someone robbing it or pulling a gun out. It’s sorta affordable here so that’s a plus but only go here if your an outdoor person who doesn’t mind to travel for things

Been here since 1984.... Back in the days it was quiet and peaceful. But after mid 2000's......? It's not as safe.
Nothing is.

I live there.. moved from Long Beach ☺️
🙏🏼
why did you leave long beach? what are a few pros/cons for you?
Kind of a bad decision I've lived here for 10 years literally nothing goes on besides violence
Do you live in Victorville?
I don’t currently live there, I’m there enough with a lot of my business being conducted there as well.

Thanks for watching.
Bru forgot the high crime rate
Living here against my will. It's the only place to rent a decent house that isn't 3k for 900 SF.
Against your will? Do you need help?
What’s a typical studio price?
Gangs??????
Too far from the beach.
To some that's not important
so it sucks basically😂
Nope
Victorville is ghetto
They don’t call it Victimville for nothing
Hell no
