I am from Ohio and yes these places are creepy. But yall need to check into Red Brick Tavern in London, Ohio. I use to work there and the building is crazy. I swear to this day I was the only one there and got pushed down the stairs.
I can attest that the Mansfield Reformatory is haunted. Particularly the shower area, the warden's office, some of the cells in the top tier and one ground-floor cell where I encountered a playful spirit that smacked my face. Not violently, but a definite smack. If you're serious about ghost hunting there, try to arrange a private session for your small group. Pick a spot and stay still and quiet for a little while. Take your time exploring. The spirits are not as active or responsive when large noisy groups come in for a tour. If you are one of the gifted ones who is tuned in to the spirit world, your 'spidey senses' will pick up on things as soon as you walk in the door.
That's why you don't like it. I have lived in OH, Kentucky, WV, TN, NC, GA, AL FL and TX and NC is my favorite but OH is my 2nd favorite because there are educated and employed people. No other state I have lived in is as educated or as employed as in Ohio.

Yes: Accident happened in the 1930s . The car that was shown as "an example" was not a 1930s car. Think about how difficult that would have been, for this little UA-cam channel to search every junkyard in the United States to find a 1930s wreck.
Millersburg Ohio is outside of the house with slave tunnels under it.. It's absolutely amazing
