@Aaron Wells Well of course it is subjective and just my opinion, so you might think otherwise. But in this song I think the personality comes mostly from his adlips (travis scott is another rapper that really ads personality just by his adlips. I am not comparing, just an example, they are very different), and from his layed back style of rapping he had in "far" for example, at least in the beginning of that song. Also you would never confuse the artist with this song, it is clearly lil xan. In some of his last few songs he sounded like he was pushed on a popular style that just is not him, and does not sound like him. I am glad that it is the opposite in this song.
About older songs, I like maybe 2 or 3 songs from diego and the best of those imo is the song xanarchy. That had avery good vibe and an excellent beat. You could hear how much fun diego was having and such. The song doesnt have good lyrics, which is ta biggest flaw (and diegos biggest flaw about his music) but the delivery and flow is much better in that one than any other of his songs. I personally did not like this one, but its defienetly better than anything on total xanarchy which was awful imo. I just hope that diegos song get less bad everytime and one point starting to get good, I wanna see this artist make good music after all

@Aaron Wells yeah I see what you mean and have to agree. I personally also like his meaningful songs the most. Far is probably ties my favorite with Lies, and I love Betrayed and Decieved. But his "party songs" like Wake Up, Slingshot and Center Fold are also pretty good and I still listen to them. I also think tht Lies and Decieved would've blown up if he wasn't swept away by the "tupac is boring"- Hatewave. Tbh that was really stupid, like it is just his opinion, his music taste, I may disagree, but this kinda hate was really unjustified
