Social Security is NOT an entitlement! Workers pay into social security every paycheck - stop calling it something like a gift for retirees.
Seriously! I have been paying into it for over 40 years now, and about 10 years away from that wonderful age of retirement. If it's not there when I am ready for it, I really don't know what I will do. It certainly is not a handout! It is very much earned and it really makes me mad when that idiot says otherwise.

I'm not sure if you know what an entitlement is. It just means if you meet the requirements you are entitled to it. I know the word "entitled" has a negative connotation but that's not how it's being used here. I can see them changing it so that if you have more than X in a savings / IRA / 401k that you can't draw social security. It would be terribly unfair but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

We have to buckle our children at all times except when they are in school bus. Why are seatbelts not required on school busses? Its utterly ridiculous.
