When I first heard Ice Cream Man, my mom didn't know why I was crying so hard. I told her what happened to me and how even now as an adult I am afraid of men. I am so glad she did this song, it's healing.

Used to see Raye perform at The BRIT School (she was a year above my daughter). It's no overstatement to say that the general consensus was that she was going to be one of *those* that were going places.

How were a group of administrative hacks able to block the release of Raye's debut album? A huge loss for Raye's fans. How many other artists are/have been sidelined through the arbitrarily business decisions of non-musicians?

I haven't seen an artist like Raye in years. She absolutely wrecks me, makes me feel so much joy, and does so with such grace & humility. Raye is truly just so inspiring. I wish more "pop stars" these days were like her. I really hope she continues to receive recognition. 🤍🤍🤍
What the freaking hell was that ? that was awesome. She's such a brilliant songwriter and vocalist and performer on top of appearing as a nice soul. She's just so good. Every song on repeat I can't !! Black Mascara and Prada hit haaaaard ! I've been screaming during the whole set and I think my neighbour hates me.

Dang she is so lovely, and humble, and vulnerable, and her lyrics and her VOICE are freakin' amazing, and holy shit each one of her band members are completely in love with her!!! I'm going to enjoy watching this star rise!!!
The beauty of this performance is that it is the rare instance when high definition audio/video captures the exact "breakout moment" for a once in a generation artist. This appears to be that moment in time that every emerging artist dreams of. . . the big break, the big stage, the big festival with multiple stages the crowds gravitate to or they don't. In this instance, Raye looks up and beyond her wildest dreams the tent is packed to capacity by a wildly enthusiastic audience. They showed up. The thrill of the first glimmers of huge worldwide fan base soon to come. And Raye let's us know, that she knows! Wow is an understatement.

What a freaking gorgeous woman! Inside & out. To be so humble & thankful while being an incredibly phenomenal artist. Hearing her gush over the crowd & say she's used to smaller crowds made me tear up. That's insane. But from now on the crowds are just going to keep getting bigger & bigger. 🩷
