I guess it’s my favorite song. What I love Jonathan more than any other Metal singer is that is not growling, he’s screaming crying, we heard his emotions.
@@zacm9747 Not anymore, sadly Brian changed it up and is using an ESP LTD 7 string guitar, and James is using his signature Ibanez Apex both have Evertune installed bridges on them. I saw them last year and James was playing a signature Steve Vai 7 string for a few songs. I'd imagine he doesn't use it for the whole set as they prefer the Evertune bridges now because they help a lot with tuning and intonation.
Thanks for uploading this, I’ve never seen it. Am I wrong but did Head play the chorus differently? I’m actually learning this song right now on guitar
Yeah he’s decided to play something other than the riffs he’d normally play like on the studio version, not the best creative decision imo but I’m sure if you’ve played the song 1000 times and it’s yours, you can do what you want with it lol
Yes Jake Head only seemed to add this alternative chorus part in some 2000 shows. I really like it, maybe the rest of the band didn’t? At Baltimore 2000 Heads bit is really loud and drowns the vocals a bit maybe that’s why he stopped that improv.,who knows. I’m assuming he’s using Digitech whammy/+octave effect for it.
@@ianwalters11 You can see in this video, that he did not touch the whammy before he plays those parts, and also the whammy is in "upwards" position. if he would have use the octave up effect it should be in "toe down" position. Also at 3:04, before the second chorus it looks like that he is stepping on a pedal next to the whammy, so he is turning it on before the chorus. So he used that one for this extra sound i think. Too bad it can't be seen on this video, what kind of pedal is there. Would be cool to know that :)
He had like 3 days or some stupid shit to learn these songs and he's playing it in front of all those people. Also he's called mike bordin aka The drummer silveria was inspired by 🤦
He did good, this version is more lively than the recording. I like the overall performance at Rock Am Ring 2000 better, probably the best live version of this song.
Goes to show how hard it is to get David’s drum feel. One of the best to ever do it.
Where was Silveria at those time ??? 🤔
@@eugenschmidt9339 He had a wrist injury at the time and had to miss that tour.
Mike Bordin is too great a drummer not to be able to replace any other drummer.
@@KYuri1987absolutely. His drumming in this was damn good
David was David. Not replaceable. But I love this dude. He brings it at this festival. Great addition at that time.
Still rippin this shit up at 46! Awesome opening concert song!!
Never stop, bro! I just saw Korn live and they are now in their 50s and they blew away the opening bands, Helmet, and Evanescence!

Love Munky's guitar ! Classy !
Yeah they've always been 7 string Ibanez guys. Nice guitars for sure.

Interesting. So Jonathan Davis already wore this kind of getup even before Untouchables was released in 2002.
Voice is so good and unique
