@@asiagreen5658 I will look into the suggestion.
Just started my first Structural Engineering job a month ago and it’s crazy how much I’ve learned and how different things are in the world vs. school. I’m thankful that I’m working in a small company that works on all types of projects so I can be exposed to a lot. Good luck to everyone else just starting their careers!
What do mean different things are in the world vs school?
Btw Congratulations 🎉😁
After 6 years in structures in a tier 1, I quit…
@@markjayburtonhuidem2586 things are more practical in world than theoretical in school
Two structural geniuses from different ends of the world meeting at one place....
Great video.....🤩🤩🤩
My 2 best structural engineers together that’s awesome
Was not expecting a collab like this. Great video as always Mat, enjoyed listening to the insightful advice from Brendan.
The best Collab ever🤘👍🙂
wanted this collab but never expected so early 🤩🤩
It's great to see professionals connecting and teaching one another things that the other may not have known. Thanks for sharing and hope to see more collaborations from both of you! @Brendan Hasty
Thank you so much both of you are my inspiration. I have followed you two on UA-cam for a couple of years. I love the job that I am doing now and I learn a lot from you two.
I am from East Timor and looking forward to have my masters in Structural Engineering in Australia or USA in four to five years. Right now I am working as a civil engineer in small company in my country.
Our pleasure!
Am a structural / Project Manager here in the Philippines and I love the advices from Brendan. I always watch your channel. Same with Mat. Cheers.
Woooooow the best crossover ever. Great guys. Awesome
What a combo! Lots of wisdom shared. Well done!
Finally, the colab that I've been waiting for 😁
Awsome video, please do more of these as it helps structural engineers who are relatively new!
What a legendary crossover. Love it.

Wow! Been following you guys
What are the odds of this collab, I watch both channels but I did not expect this wonderful meeting.
Wow that was a fantastic collab mate.
I am subscribed to you both, but I usually see you separately!!! Lol. So when I saw you guys together in the thumbnail, my brain got confused😅but then I got excited and was no, “No way, they collaborated!”
Hi Matt, I would like to add some advice for engineering career as international students. To be honest in US I feel the first thing is to find an employer that sponsors work visa so at least you can think about the future career in this country. I agree with all those communication skills balabala are important but first things first.
I have graduated last year and joined a company that deals with feasibility and marine construction. I have got one year experience and have done two structural building design (G+4, G+2 bunglow) worked with architect to design it better. Also analysed steel truss for backyard facilities of ports. I also have experience with project management, doing all's finances with my own project of g+4 and have block estimated project for a feasibility and also for all of my design. I need good mentor like you to gain more experience. I want to join you.
Good to see you both in the same frame . I have questions for Brendan hasty .
What is your take on Ashraf Habibullah speech which was posted on linkdin .
"Structural engineering is indispensable to humanity . So, why we do not make more money? "
Awesome 😎
I've never seen this coming 🔥🔥😭my favourites together

@@tlhalefangchelechele6303 you enjoying it? My final year is me deciding if I want to go into structures and help with bridges and all that. How are things on your end?
Great ☺️😍
Brooo what a fucking glitch haha. When you started your channel Mat, I loved it but always thought there should’ve been an Australian channel. And while Brendan also began his channel I had come across his channel during the early days too… and here y’all are collabing. Wow. Just wow.
Jajaja a ambos los sigo y verlos juntos es espectacular
What a crossover
awesome, I like you both, and i know you both
It's like an MCU movie, amazing collaboration....
Changing companies also increases your salary. Unfortunately, loyalty does not usually pay...financially
NO WAYYY, I WATCH BOTH OF U
I just quite my job and have started my master's in structural engineering but I'm still skeptical if this is a good career path In terms of the pay scale. Can you guide me
