Women voters and their "feelings" are going to be the downfall of the civilized West eventually. Women voters have already done a lot of damage that we will never recover from.
" if there was a species of concern in those bushes, we've probably already run it over and squashed it. I don't think it's there anymore."
It would have heard the harvester and trucks coming and got the heck out the way! Some oxygen thieves are very annoying.
What ever "species of concern" made the mistake of setting up a habitat in an active farm land, not the farmer's problem.
@@Shawn_the_Protogen kinda like saying it's not the driver's problem when a kid wanders onto the road.
@@plmokm33 Well obvious its not....are you stupid?! Obviously you don't want to kill a child so you would try to stop I hope, but the fact is that child should have never been there, thats the parents responsibility.... Wow I can't believe you said that.....
Were you not taught at the age 5 not to wander into traffic and run across roads? Its an actual law called jay walking.
@@googleanti-speech7618 the comment I was replying to didn't make it sound like the person cared at all, not that they 'obviously didn't want to hit it'. Also, there are there kids younger than 5 you know? Considering animals have no concept of that kind of stuff, the comparison would obviously be a younger kid. Who exactly are the parents in this analogy?
My pal bought a home lot here in rural Arizona. He was on a dozer clearing and leveling a pad for his house when the owner of the property next door cane striding up. He hollered out: “My property line is there so I own that cactus right there, don’t dig up ground near it!” As he stomped back to his property my buddy motored right over there and crushed the cactus to mush. Not a word was exchanged. Present and future problem solved. Ps. My buddy had the property staked before grading and knew that the cactus was actually on his property.
Thats probably why the other guy didn't say anything. He knew it wasn't his and was hopping your buddy didn't already know. Dude was trying to get a little bit of extra land
I'm not saying I agree with this completely but, if it was a saguaro cactus, it's protected by state law in Arizona. The flower from the saguaro cactus is their state flower. Harming or vandalizing a saguaro in any manner is illegal in Arizona. It is a class four felony, which means it is punishable by up to 25 years in prison (unlikely but hey I'm not risking it). You can get a special permit if you need to move or destroy a saguaro.
Mr. Bisson:
A bit of research or living here would have informed you that if the saguaro is on your property it is yours and the State has no jurisdiction over what you do with it. You can also sell it if you want. You get a tag to put on it while it is hauled away. We would NEVER allow some wacky legislator to tell us what to do with stuff on our property; aside from building permits and environmental concerns that are well justified on certain properties. Sorry, you are wrong. I personally would not have run over it. In fact it was beautiful and if asked I would have suggested that he move it to the front of the property.
@@larrysorenson4789 A bit of a toxic reply there Larry. I didn't make the laws in Arizona. You can find them here:

And we don’t need your interpretation. On your property you own it period.
Grew up on a dairy farm it's amazing how clueless people can be! As Time went on and our operation got bigger the local high school had tours of the farm, many of my friends and teachers learned an awful lot about life! Good channel!

You know, years ago there was a kind of wild iris that bloomed in the swamp at the foot of the hill south of my woods. It was beautiful, and I was tempted to take a few ulbs, but I respected the Conservancy. A few years later our Town dug sewers right through there. No more irises. It was sad. It's still a wetland, just three miles east of a mini-continental divide, with a creek running through it. A land speculator from Chicago seems to own it now, obvioisly sight unseen, since I have seen that entire valley flooded in my lifetime. In the best of times it is a mosquito hatchery. It isn't my land, so all I can do is curse anyone who tries to develop it into yet another corporate center with a view of I-94.

Cidiots (city idiots)
_noun:_
A person who visits/moves to the country to "get away from it all"; usually doesn't understand the unspoken rules and quirks of the locals and the prices they pay to get things done.
Ive always referred to them as cidiots for the past ten years or so...
makes me think of a lady from a facebook group that was complaining about moving out to the country and having to deal with people who shoot guns on their privately owned land, if you cant handle something like that move back to the city where you belong
When I move out to the country I will try my hardest to not become a cidiot

She probably doesn’t even have a job enough to afford a new axle on a combine 😂
The bailer costs more than her whole car.
She seemed polite voicing her concerns. Looked like you knew about the problem but no way to fix it. All in all a smooth encounter with a resident.
She was probably the first to complain when the grocery stores ran low on milk because of COVID.
Farming is hard enough without having to deal with people like her .
It's why my cousin quit.
@Unmutual Yes it's true big farms are buying small farms and eliminating the family farms . It's sad but true . Be well stay warm . We just went 3 days without power .
A farmer won the mega lottery. They asked him, "what are you going to do with the money?". "Well," he said, "I reckon I will just keep farming until it's all gone."

Could it be that you are ruining her private stash grow operation? I once removed what I thought was giant catnip plants on a country road intersection. It was growing on public land (a ditch) and I got six huge trash bags for my kitties. Turns out it was a close relative to catnip but it was better suited for recreational use and a little old lady was looking for her catnip thief sometime later.

I heard a STORY. I hope it’s true. Guy was hauling pit manure. (It’s pumped in 3000 to 5000 gallon tanks pulled by 150++ hp tractors. A hydraulic opens rear valve and watery manure is sprayed against a plate that causes it to fan out behind spreader) simplistic explanation)
Well traffic blowing horns, gestures on narrow road. The driver moves hyd, starts PTO for 2p seconds. Local car wash had its best day ever.
