First saw these videos yesterday, and they are great! I never knew this existed! Anyone know where I could find information on the cars you guys are driving? They look like way too much fun haha
team associated rc8b3 was the winning buggy & they also have the team associated rc8t3 truggy . both top players in competition racing . most hobby stores should carry these
+Matt King Most of these cars you can buy straight from A Main Hobbies. Losi 8ight, Mugen mbx7r, Kyosho mp9, Tekno nb48.3, AE rc8b3 to name a few. Adam Drake has a few vids out there where he goes into detail on all the stuff he uses if you're curious what's all under the hood.
That was a great race!! Way better then any gay ass electric race that's for sure!!! I'm sure I'll see the TLR 4.0 take the crown home next year ! Lol!
It's dirt racing. The track looks slick because it most likely has clay mixed in the dirt. Most rc dirt tracks tend to use a blend of clay and dirt on the tracks because it's easier to maintain, it's also easier to shape jumps, the jumps and banks keeps their shape longer than just using plain dirt, the cars can get better grip whether they're using dirt tires or clay tires depending on the track blend, it absorbs and holds moisture more and doesn't make the track muddy getting the cars dirty and covered in mud, most pro drivers like driving on clay and dirt blended tracks, and also when the track is dry, it keeps hold onto the dirt to the ground during windy days and isn't dusty as much. I have a friend who has a 1/8th track in his backyard, his dirt and clay blend is 55 dirt and 45 clay, and his track is great to drive on, looks about close as the way the track in this video, looks slick, but isnt. It's way better than driving on an all dirt track. Most pro championship racing tracks would use a blend of between 55 dirt and 45 clay, and 65 dirt and 35 clay. Depending on how the dirt and clay mixture is on the track, the surface will look different by the ratio used. The more clay you put in the dirt and clay ratio, it'll look more slick like dirty asphalt. And the more dirt you put in, the more it looks like dirt or muddy depending if the track was watered down or not.
great race . congrats to cavalieri . although maifiels is a very good racer with many wins , this showed some unsportsmanlike conduct with him trying to take cavalieri out on that last turn . sore loser I say ?
he wasn't trying to take him out, he was trying to send it over that step up, in hopes of landing in front of Cavalieri, and over shot it. The face of that step up was beat to shit and would toss you crazily if you tried to over-drive it.
+BigReadeDesigns That's what I thought too. Taking him out would have been dumb and risky, trying to pass him in the air is a more common racing move and that's what it looked like imo
No Novarossi's ??
Excellent race. Everything can happen in 45 minutes.
That was an awsome win for cavalieri and he really needed that win! Cavalieri and ty tessman best humble drivers imo
these guys driving is incredible. Wish i was that fast

GO, REDS RACING!
even the announcer knew that mayfiel tried to take cavalieri out on that last turn :-(
That was a scary moment when Ty Tessmann had to come in. I thought he broke something. Might have been a small stone got stuck.
