The image you see is of a shaman in a wolfskin hurling the moon via the moon's legs over his head --> the moon has "legs" as she walks over the sky. The shaman instigates this daily occurrence with ritual worship. And so the people rejoice for the goings on of the world.
The melodies sound like they are being transmitted from another planet, greatest album they made

Dark, heavy, raw, dirty, highly mathematical and beautiful.
Hate Forest never disappoints 🤘🏻

Good one, but I'd pick DARKNESS intro riff.

These are Karelian petroglyphs. Look up "Karelian Bes" for another example.

If only they had a real drummer for this album and it would've been great.
the album is still great, but a real drummer would've added more to it for sure.
Drum machine sounds colder which is why he chose to use it I guess
I'd say this is one of the few bands that could make a drum machine sound good
Listen to “The curse” demo then. Same material, played with the real drums and prominent bass, but a bit faster
Check out Death Fortress if you haven’t already. Similar sound with real drums. One of my favorite bands.
This kinda sucks
kid ya lost?
@@VESGOBOY I like hate forest, this just isn't it
It doesn’t suck, it’s just not
‘Peak’ Hate Forest.
For a Debut it’s actually solid.
