I love the Criterion collection. Really. But for me this film is one of the worst. It’s so bad acting, bad editing, bad directing. As a native French speaker, this is shocking how the casting act. Everything sounds fake. I don’t like saying bad things about movies but for this one, I absolutely think it doesn’t belong to this prestigious collection. When I watched it in a movie theater in France, people were leaving the room. We started 30-35 people, we ended 5-6.
