Urban Empire Gameplay Overview:
In Urban Empire you take control of a mayoral dynasty and lead your city and people through 200 years of history. Establish infrastructures, plan city districts, debate political decisions at the town council, bribe or blackmail your opponents, empower the democratic rights of your people or ignore them and reign supremely by yourself - the decision is yours!
Beginning in the 1820s, establish your city through five different eras, each with its own threats and opportunities. Master the challenges of the centuries, face political struggles, experience world-changing events and pioneering inventions, and create your own unique Urban Empire!
Urban Empire is a ‘City Ruler’, pioneering a new breed of strategy game that combines city builder features with political scheming and adds profound social and historical events into the mix, creating a whole new gameplay experience where players must employ strategic planning and political savvy to successfully grow their cities in their role as Mayor.

Urban Empire Gameplay Features:
►City Ruler, not City Builder: Urban Empire offers a unique combination of classic city building and political management gameplay. ►Choose from 4 ruling families with 5 characters each, like the equal rights and social justice advocates the Kilgannons, or the Sant’Elias, who focus on scientific progress and the pursuit of knowledge.

Just so you know Blitz, but you can appeal with each tick every month, it helps to push those really hard to get votes, but don't overdo it or they'll go against you even if their party normally agrees with it.

Im a polish noble. In Poland we had specific nobility system ( we had because f*cking march constitution deleted nobility in Poland). So we had 4 types of nobles: Magnates, medium nobility, village nobility and gołota. Magnates were owners of 100-300 villages and few small cities, medium nobles serem owners of one od two villages, village nobles had few fields and gołota had only some clothes, coat of arms and sword.
East Indian Trading Company Were Golota like a private militia to stop the other nobles from being harassed by peasants, prevent uprising and be Police? Gawd I'm intrigued.
UntamedPandaSweg No Gołota were just poor nobility. They were often working for Magnates so they can educate their kids, get some land and became villige nobility etc. In XVII century Magnates had their private armies. One more thing, there were only 15-25 magnates families like: Sobiescy, Radziwiłłowie, Zamoyscy, Poniatowscy, Potoccy, Wiśniowieccy, Leszczyńscy, Lubomirscy and few other families.
Jasper LaRue We had noble democracy and elective monarchy. King was choose by nobility and he technicly cant do anything if nobility doesnt wanted it. We had also something called Liberum Veto. Every noble could end Sejm (debate in Polish parlament) just by saying this. In XVII century Magnates often bribed poorest nobles to end Sejm. But it was kind of feudalism. Peasant->Citizen->Nobility(Gołota->Village Nobility-> Medium Nobility->Magantes)-> King ->Death->God.
