I have 100s of stone cabs... I love stones and gems. During quarantine I told myself I'd start wiring, I didn't. Everything just sits here. I am a leaded stained glass artist, you would think that I wouldn't feel incompetent on my wiring journey, but I do. I am about to dive in! I know I got this! Love how you teach. Thanks

I love watching your videos and have been looking for a way to incorporate wire wrapping with my resin art. I think you have come up with a great idea here. Just an FYI for anyone working with resin & alcohol inks....the ink will fade quite rapidly. It can fade in as little as 4 wks if in the direct sunlight. It takes a hair longer in indirect sunlight. As Von says keep on crafting.

Loved this (really love ALL your tutorials Von) and I also love how you say you're inspired by other artists.....I do that as well....I always tell people "this was NOT my idea, but it IS my own style or take on it"....I also mention those who have inspired me so yeah......makes me love ya even more cause I see your heart and morals as an artist!!!!! In my 30 some years of being a mixed media artist I have seen many who do not share those morals! I also love how you showed the other artists and their take on the crescent moon pendant......beautiful work guys!!!!! Blessings in Love & Light!!!!!

Morning, Vonn! This is so very serendipitous: I was just wracking my brain for a simpler, less costly item that I could create and BOOM 💥...here you are!! For me, the hardest part is that all of my stones are, in fact, actual stones, so there’s a bit more work involved. But as long as my Dremel holds up, I am aces! Thanks, doll...Happy Sunday, y’all!!! 💋😎💋🏴‍☠️

Shaping them! i work from rough. I have a very minimalistic lapidary set up with a 6” saw blade and grinding wheel and had to set up my own water feed system. I use that mainly for cutting slabs to work from. I’m on SSI, so I make do with what I got. Oh, why couldn’t I have been born wealthy instead of just incredibly gorgeous?! BWAAAAHAHAH! But, seriously, once I have a couple of pieces done, I will send you some pics...ciao!

Not that i mind, but i can’t tell you anything different in email than i have described here. I have a small saw blade/grinding wheel lap machine that needs the blade replaced, and i have Dremel rotary tools , the biggest being the 4000. And countless bits of all types. And needle files. And callouses...lots of callouses.
