The fish rots from the top. Already 2 months ago a 25 year old woman was made a brigadier in the police from outside police with no police qualifications. She is a direct cadre appointment. Enough is enough. A brigadier needs at least 20 years police experience. Just disgusting. Fire her. It undermines the hardworking police.

I was also thinking about that but the problem is the expensive standard of living townships is the most affordable place to stay but I think it's a good thing that Saps must make a plan maybe by subsidizing them with accommodation in those affluent as oppose to stay in township because it's very dangerous

@PhumezileGaxela-hz9ob they live in their own secure villages built for the "serving" members only which they vacate on retirement. The government should build such villages in all cities.

I think South African government should completely introduce a tougher law to ban guns in the country, and also increase security in all areas, but the government is dormant,,
Why the government in the parliament are not debating such law.
    Total gun control please,
Where is the President,, all law enforcement agencies should be deployed in all towns.and cameras should be installed in all areas.
    ● why gun control law is not introduced?
As a government, they know all business shops selling guns and bullets, why are there not putting trackers on the bullets and guns so that it's easy to detect who is using such guns. They should link with all governments like Lesotho, Swaziland etc, to curb these crimes

Guns should be legal to protect yourself. The problem is the police guns are the predominant guns found in crime. The police are compromises. Decentralise the police. Let each province take responsibility for their own policing.

My dearest condolences to the family of the deceased. Well to me finding the murderer and bringing him before the law while still alive is useless because there is no amount of sentence that will match his actions. You know RSA Police are working under a very compromised situation, IPID is not being fair to SAPS members and criminals know that very well and they are using that advantage to the maximum. By saying this, im not condoning the horrible behavior of police officers who would just attack a person for no apparent reason. In RSA police officers are treated as nothing because of the criminal supporting laws of the country.
