So much here. I wondered how you'd explain to the people who built the gorgeous ancient ruins in the background what they're witnessing, if they were here today. You'd have to explain electricity, what these instruments are and how they work. What the drone is that's taking the overhead shots, the microphones, the speakers, the magic tech. Or you could just shut your yappin' mouth and let them listen to the music, which they'd understand, despite the disconnect of their years. Matteo... such a singular talent. What's next in modern guitar? He's the one going to show us all.
They'd wonder when testosterone was outlawed. Sorry, gave it my shot, but the future of guitar is nowhere near this boring. Hate the sound of his technique, and the downsides are obvious to hear, but thats a personal problem.
The ease and versatility with which Matteo shifts from well-fitting melodic runs, interspersed with chords and arpeggios using various techniques is something beautiful to behold and so advanced especially for someone so young. It's as if the guitar has grown from this guy like a special musical appendage that he can play as easily as walking, thinking or breathing. Pure natural expression at it's finest.

Qua le vette sono davvero da vertigine.
Chapeau.
sará gente con il parkinson...
Wowsers!!! This kid is ridiculously good. He is like a mixture of Neal Schon and Mark Knopfler. He’s so crystal clear and blazingly fast, and he has a sense of melody that seems to be unparalleled with others around his age. He seems so untouchable right now. Best of luck Kid!! CheerS !!!!
This music makes me feel like I'm cruising huge cosmic waves, on my interstellar surfboard.
In a word: GNAARRRRLY!!💪😁
Wow, I've never seen such right hand technique, even among flamenco players. And such mature taste.
Un suono cristallino... Una tecnica che impressiona. Che spettacolo!
Sure Matteo sounds great, but who wouldn't sound great with Matteo's great ear, all his natural guitar talent, and all that hard work Matteo puts in, not to mention being able to work with a great bass player and a great drummer... lol :)
The future of jazz guitar is in capable hands. I'm very impressed with young players like Matteo!
He is incredible! Wow! I do have to say that some of the lick he pulls off with two hands Alan did with one. R.I.P. Alan. That being said, Matteo's is taking things to the next level. So clean!
Matteo plays WITHOUT A PICK, dont forget
@@consulentecomunicazionestr3072 but with a fretwrap because fingerstyle cannot palm mute/mute strings easily... most pick players do not use a fretwrap live ;) not hating on Matteo btw...
Qui c'è tutto:tecnica, passione e suono eccezionali.Ragazzi così giovani e di gran futuro! Complimenti
It’s so great to see Matteo playing live with other players again. I think that’s where his playing is going to really evolve even further, in his interaction with other musicians. He is such an incredible talent
Speechless! What a trio. Matteo’s right hand technique is ‘dal futuro jazz’.
Stefano India! Dude i am loving that bass player!
Stefano and Giuseppe top class as well
Such players often play fantastic covers but I am pleased to say that actually Matteo's original number made me pay the most attention and I listened to it more than once!
The whole history of Jazz is based on "covers".
Luckily, the history of fusion is based on writing originals :)
Undeniably Stellar performance by all 3 musicians here. Speed, accuracy, feel, dynamics, arrangements etc. etc. etc.
Sara' uno dei piu grandi chitarristi al mondo.....
Lo è già
Footprints sounds absolutely stunning. Another to play over and over. It’s just perfect.
Mindblowing. Opening with Footprints put a huge smile on my face that didn't go away.
Refreshing to see jazz fusion being kept alive like this.
I thought: no way this is an actual performance, got to be a play-back music video. But this IS indeed them playing and sounding this crisp, on a pastoral country road! Amazing.
Matteo tu non suoni la chitarra. Tu ci parli. Bravo ragazzo. Tecnica mostruosa.
Beautiful location and camera work
I agree that the soundman gets mad props. This is album quality. The drums sound fantastic. These guys are killin' it. Italian fusion is a description in craigslist ads for musicians, now. The circle that Matteo runs with have raised the bar. You know you're good when players like Al DiMeola refer to Matteo by name. The bass player is so melodic !!!!
He's the one going to show us all.
they'd be just as puzzled about the purpose of bass solos too
I had the exact same thought watching Pink Floyd's performancve at Pompéi !
They'd wonder when testosterone was outlawed. Sorry, gave it my shot, but the future of guitar is nowhere near this boring. Hate the sound of his technique, and the downsides are obvious to hear, but thats a personal problem.
Incredible musicians all three, Matteo is from another planet, but the other two guys left me equally speechless
Beautiful setting! Man that guy plays that bass like an upright, sounds so good
There were moments in this that reminded me of Rush 😊
Absolutely bloody superb!
This place wih this trio blowed my mind
The ease and versatility with which Matteo shifts from well-fitting melodic runs, interspersed with chords and arpeggios using various techniques is something beautiful to behold and so advanced especially for someone so young. It's as if the guitar has grown from this guy like a special musical appendage that he can play as easily as walking, thinking or breathing. Pure natural expression at it's finest.
6:10 fusion bass with a rock attitude☺it's great !!!
Drummer keeping perfect time on each song, Bass player adding his own licks and Matteo with all the Expressions, feeling each note. 18 minuets of variety with Matteo showing all of us that he has to be considered as one of the Best all around Guitarist in the world
Performance da 10 e lode. Il bassista mi ha davvero sorpreso
Sublimazione del virtuosismo della mano destra. Spettacolare Matteo Mancuso
This guy simply has his musical sh*t totally together. What a talent. Please come to Canada and the US for a tour very, very soon. You're phenomenal.
Yes indeed, I would greatly appreciate if he toured with his trio in Canada !
He definitely has a unique style of playing and I absolutely love it !
04:32 Fred - Alan Holdsworth - Just... Waow 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 !!! I love the energy that emanates from this song as they play it 🎼🎵🎶🎸🎸🥁 !!! Great musicians, and Matteo Mancuso is amazing 🤩 !!!
