I like Evan Williams bottled in bond for the price. And yes Heaven Hill did take advantage of the people. That 7 year isn't worth the price increase compared to the 6 year.

After the above tasting, we tried a pour of the EW BiB and it was almost as good as the HH bottles. I'll take three bottles of the EW for the same price as one bottle of the HH7 any day... Cheers!
People complain about the price hike but the 6 yr BiB was KY only so the rest of us who could never buy it don't have a leg to stand on. And yes, EW BiB is one of the great remaining bargains so stop talking about it.

A few years ago on July 4th the wife made a run to the store, so I asked her to pick up a bottle of HH 6 yr BIB. She came back with the white label HH Banquet Bourbon instead. Unfortunately I did not take a good look at the bottle before taking a big swig out of it. It was horrible, and pretty much ruined my taste buds for the rest of the evening.
I couldn't focus on the first half of the video because of that hair coming off your chin. You got my attention back with that swirl job though. Good job.

I like the new scientific scoring rubric. 😂 I have been passing on this bourbon for a while now. I just cannot justify paying more for this bourbon than what I pay for the excellent 10 year Henry McKenna BIB. It’s just hard to find at $40.
Yeah I think they bamboozeld us with that one. I actually was there last week for their "connoisseur tour" ......unfortunatly it really isn't a tour at all. You sit in a room and get four samples and listen to a lady tell a very rehearsed story. Heaven Hill just wants your dollars.

The longer your eyes are closed the better the whiskey. You need to add “time while eyes closed” to your scoring system.
