Crispy Prawn lollipops 🦐🤤
This makes an excellent starter recipe ,made with simple ingredients and deep fried until crisp.
Ingredients:
1 cup prawns
Salt to taste
5-6 garlic
1/2 inch ginger
1 green chilli
1/2 tsp crushed pepper
Grind the above ingredients into a smooth paste without water.
Now in a bowl add the paste, add 1 finely chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1-2 tbsp maida/ breadcrumbs. Combine everything together, check for salt and add more breadcrumbs if required.
Wet your palms, make small balls of the mixture, Now take a short wooden stick / toothpick or Icecream stick and put it inside the prawn mixture.
Then dip in beaten egg carefully, then roll it in breadcrumbs press gently to stick the crumbs well and keep aside.
Deep fry on medium to low flame till its crispy snd cooked thoroughly.
Serve hot with ketchup.
