Hey. I previously had the e66 and it's a big difference. It's big enough to get the big job done and small enough to work in tight space. I'm very pleased with.
Hello. I’ve been enjoying your videos. Keep them coming. I too have land that I have been clearing for a barn and horse pastures. I recently purchased a track loader and am considering an excavator. I keep going back and forth between a 6 tone and 8 tone. You started with the 6 and moved up to the 8. Please provide any information and recommendations you have on your excavator knowledge and choices. Thank you
Martin, thank you for the question. In my personal opinion both machines are great depending what you will be using them for. I originally bought the 6 ton thinking it would be enough for me but quickly realized what I was using it for, it was just not enough power. It works great for digging around foundation or getting into tighter areas or even if you have a smaller truck it's easier to move from one location to the othere. If you are going to be digging out stumps or a pond or a small foundation or septic or even moving medium sized rock. The 8 ton is the machine I would recommend going with. It's just so much more machine the power is night and day. In the future if you ever want to use a forestry mulcher attachment the 8 ton will be able to handle it. I believe with the 8 ton you will have more options and will just be able to get jobs done quicker and easier. I hope this helps. I'll be posting more vedios of the 8 ton in the next few weeks just waiting for the snow to melt. I'm going to try to dig a 1 acre pond with it . It will be interesting to see how it handles the work load. Hope this helps. Thank you
@@sarandiestateatfrenchcreek111 Yes that information is very helpful. Thank you for responding. You addressed all my concerns with the 6 ton machine. The reason I haven’t bought an excavator yet was because I knew I would regret buying the 6 ton but was trying to justify the smaller machine for convenience.I do plan on running a mulcher and excavating a basement and foundation for a house and another barn along with all the other projects I have. I appreciate your feedback.
The only excavator built with electric controls directly to joysticks is next gen cat machines. Flip up left joysticks you will see hydraulic lines underneath. When you see a brand advertising like cat . Boom control speed adjustment. Stick speed adjustment that means they have electric to sticks. In my opinion pilot hydraulic controls are much smoother. Most skid steers are electric. I am sure all excavators will be eventually. Great video Bobcats have great breakout force. Bit tippy until you get the hang of it. The e63 is a doosan built machine much smoother controls.
Nice, I have an E26, I was wondering how the e88 comperes to the regular 13ton class machines.

@@martinkukovica2359 you bet. You won't regret getting the 8 ton.
I turn my machine off all the time with stuff in my pocket. I 3d printed a shield for the switch and never had the issue again.
Nice review- do you know if the joysticks are electronically controlled or if they have 'mini hydraulic' lines controlling them?
Thank you. I believe they are electronically controlled.

Nice machine
Thank you. Its been working well for me.
Cool

Nice looking machine. Not a cat, but I think we can still be friends?
Lol, thanks. Technically it's a bobCAT . It's just a wild cat not demistacated like yours. ;-)
@@sarandiestateatfrenchcreek111 I can't argue with that logic
The e88 shits on a cat 308. Have a good amount of time on each. I’ll take the E88 any day
