- Edward Estlin Cummings (October 14, 1894 - September 3, 1962), often written in all lowercase as e e cummings, was an American poet, painter, essayist, author, and playwright. He wrote approximately 2,900 poems, two autobiographical novels, four plays, and several essays. He is often regarded as one of the most important American poets of the 20th century. Cummings is associated with modernist free-form poetry. Much of his work has idiosyncratic syntax and uses lower-case spellings for poetic expression.

He was quite attractive and his look, the Posted Child for a Writer/Author
His actual poetic voice is the voice of spirit, and I really mean that not theoretically but by the fact that i have the non-ordinary experiences they call psychosis and within it have observed and understood the nature of spiritual voices. They sometimes feel like many whispers over each other, with rythms and repetitions. They are the whole universe speaking, inside of me. You too but their voices are socially conditioned, socially constrained, strangled, mortified.
That sounds pretty amazing - about yourself and Cummings and the differences in transmission. I believe poets have a sensitivity to tap into that divine creative fountain inside which is connected to all things, and comes as a message catered to the receiver, i .e., the poet's identity - the unique drop of water, uninhibited, yet of the ocean, God.
Are there any existing videos of ee cummings? Did you try to locate any in the process of making this documentary? Perhaps one exists but is not available for the general public? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated
I've checked academic databases and read three biographies. There was nothing and no biographer reported any (Usually they do if there is footage or sound recordings of their subject). My hunch is that if any footage exists, it's with his grandchildren
How about his love poems? They are unmatched-well, maybe Shakespeare. This video is gossip and pseudo-biography.
