Played it when I was 6 years old but failed while being unable to deal with the werewolf. Also I am pretty sure I would never pass through the swamp, especially with the bug that allows you to go to the nearby screen but doesn't allow you to go back. It would be a disaster.

This seems to look better on the spectrum than c64 very slightly

I`m not remember clearly, but shield can protect from dragon`s projectiles (last boss).
Excellent game! Never know about map. Finish game with infinite lives cheat.
