I noticed you are getting good with the drone and I love the music that you compliment the aerial footage with. Good stuff, and to use your words, I love it
Thank you, I wish I could fly the drone more often in-between trips to get a little more practice, but work (and editing) keeps me way too busy. 😁 Appreciate the compliment though and glad you like the tunes too! 😎🚗
Its amazing how well maintained the major gravel roads are in the Karoo. Back in 1987 when we explored Verneukpan, we were amazed and the good quality of the roads.LOL! I can still remember my three year old son calling it a jet lion! I am an old Ouma now, but have all these beautiful memories. Until I get altzeimers...God Forbid!! Dis hoekom ek alles nou neerskrywe
You're correct. Virtually all the bigger roads in the Karoo are rather well-maintained and I can only imagine that they were in even better shape in the 80's. But then we choose to take the ones less-travelled and that's sometimes where it gets a little rough. 🚗 But we love it. This road from Williston to Middelpos was a particularly good road, albeit very evident that large amounts of rain had fallen in the months prior to our visit. 🌧️
Lovely to travel on the ground/dirt roads of the Karro. Does something for one's being
How I yearn to go! Thanks again for showing us this beautiful scenery. You are blessed
Really nice with water in the road in die Karoo thanks for sharing
We've never seen so much water in the Karoo! And luckily the roads were still fine, so all good. 😁

How beautiful those little houses. Does someone live there? I loved your welcome.
Love the Karoo... the gravel roads...no traffic...🥴🥴🥴🥴
You're so right! That's why we love them so much. 👍🏻
The karoo has its own beauty....and those donkeys...I will never leave
It was an incredible greeting by the donkeys at Oupoort, we felt so special. The owners said they've never done that before. 😍

A gate for pedestrians? Eish. 😅
It's for the neighbours, they just walk across the road! 😁
