I keep my grocery store bags. I use it for trash bags. It works, and I haven't bought any plastic trash bags. It helps. I keep it tied in a knot inside qn empty tissue box. You can fit 100 of them in there.

I understand why you don’t keep the grocery bags with little kids around. I will tell you though, I’m not sure how you manage the kitty litter box, but that is what I use the grocery bags for, scooping the box. I’m a minimalist like you guys and I also adopted a sweet kitty a couple years ago ❤
I just started this video and I was AWWWWW on the kitty!!! I watched one of your other videos this am and spent my afternoon decluttering my car and cleaning it all up and I feel so good! But now I have to do inside my apt! Love you guys!

For Christmas we have our tree and special ornaments, stockings and a wreath, I think I have fairy lights also and a couple nutcrackers (my grandma loved them) I have one tote and everything besides tree has to fit otherwise it needs to be decluttered

When I had my apartment I use to have 6 foot tall X-Mas tree, it was so bulky. I was gifted a tiny 2 foot tree that fits on the kitchen table, it was so much better.

Taking free things is GOOD. If the goal is to be utilitarian, then start a compost bin and take whatever waste biomass you can and incorporate it. If it is going to waste, then you can profit from it.

How I wish I had known these things when my kids were young. Now, my kidlets are minimalistic and are modeling the behavior to my grandkids, things I wish I had done. So proud of them! We dont decorate for holidays aside from our 4ft Christmas tree. I dont iron unless absolutely necessary I dont match socks or fold underwear We dont drink, dont have cable, buy dvds and cds second hand or heavily discounted Dont have a lot of toys and i dont wear make up, beyond mascara and coconut oil on my lips when we go to a wedding or funeral. Which is rare. We dont socialize.we use empty boxes to carry groceries and burn the boxrs off or repourpose them.

For a while, I used paper tissue boxes, and vegetable plastic packaging from the supermarket to organize with. Free‼️

My husband and I have 1 towel each. 1 comforter, 1 throw blanket. 2 pillows each. We downsized so much and we are happy
