Hey, this is a great video! I've seen so many people say that 3.7 volts is too much, I can't seem to find any good information about the rechargeable batteries. What was the runtime for you? And did they dim or anything compared to the regular batteries?t
I’ve been running the 3.7 for a few years in all of my weapon lights. I wouldn’t run them in an eotech or optic…I run the 3.0 in optics though I can’t tell a huge difference and even if the runtime is 2/3 or 3/4 of a standard cell I get 50-100 charges out of these so I’m happy to run these over a standard cell.
@@MillWorks-vi6oj I'll pick some others up and keep an eye on the surefires. I just recently got into the surefire 18650 batteries that came with my m640df pros. I'll keep an eye on them since you obviously have more experience than me. The surefire rechargeable cr123 is what I keep in my edc g19, and I've had great results with them over the past 6 months. Although, there may be something better and I just don't know what I'm missing out on. I'll grab some of the ones you reccomend in the video. Thanks, dude. 🤙
@@peachfuds I could have gotten a bad batch. Mine didn’t like to charge on my Nitecore charger…and I wasn’t going to have two chargers for different batteries.
@@MillWorks-vi6oj I do use the surefire charger, provided with the batteries. I noticed the voltage and mah seemed to be proprietary. Maybe the fact that they are made in China was the reason for poor QC.
Great video I was just gonna buy nitecore rechargeables but I'll try these out. I had one of those nitecore chargers die on me a couple years ago but I just bought a second one because they feel solid and the display is good
I just purchased a pistol light from ADE ADVANCED OPTICS, it included a CR123A battery, but nowhere in the.manual.it stated the battery is rechargeable. Can you please advice me if you think is rechargeable? I have a charger just like yours.
If they are feesh the streamlight cr123a works freat in my o light and surefire knock off. They dont work well for very long is the only problem😢 thanks for testing this stuff out.
@@SomeGuyfrom-qr1pn haven’t used them in the turbo…I’ve run them in my Eotech, lasers, streamlight TLR, Surefire scouts etc. get the brand and V I mention in the video if you can. I had bad luck with other brands. The watsons are made for DSLR cameras. Watson 3.7 V CR123A from BH photo Video 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
very niche video and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you sir. Also Love the M4A1

Surefire and streamlight make rechargeable cr123 and 18650 batteries as well.
18650s are good(stream and sure)…the Surefire cr123 rechargeables didn’t work well for me.

I wouldn’t put it on a charger unless it states “rechargeable” on the battery itself.
@@MillWorks-vi6oj thank you, if the battery is not rechargeable would the Nitecore recharger give an error or warning?
what settings do you sekect on the charger, mine wont auto detect the battery. The K2 3.2V's also work great .
@@ikemouser2580 I’ll check tomorrow afternoon. It’s always been finicky about other brands of batteries…but these seem to always charge.
I’ll be looking into these batteries, great video . Thanks! I wanted to like the Surefire rechargeables but they are very weak.
I have the Surefire bats because they came with lights…I don’t use their CR123 equivalent.
I haven't had any issues with surefire rechargeable batteries. 🤔
